Not much of a story to it. Just blokes dont warm to him (Mitchell) personally like other blokes at the club. Not friction, just the guy who after training blokes prefer alternative company. Might be good company for the bloke who finds blokey football humour boring.

The Fev comparison is rediculous. This article was written right after the trade was done and the green light for publication was the first loss.

Hope Buddy keeps his Collingwood record intact next week. I think Essendon is the team he has reamed the most but he has given the Pies some hardship.

Just caught up on the MMM football Friday pre game show. Damian Barrett seemed very adamant that when we played WC in the NAB the Eagles players were "shocked" to hear the aggressive words exchanged between Buddy and the rest of the Swans throughout the game

Seeing though half the seniors were in the stands that night , so I guess BJ , Towers , Robinson etc were getting stuck into Buddy doubt it

Maybe the case. The swans have been pioneers in adopting the leading teams programs. The club and players have been known to be brutally honest with their assessments of each other .

In 2012- Mitch Morton kicked 13 in a game and had over 20 touches plus his constant bags he was kicking , yet could not get into the lineup . The players said to him in a meeting that they did want to play with him and did not trust him because his defensive pressure was not good enough.

After the gf, Morton said that was the hardest thing he had to hear in his career but also motivated like never was before and came out a premiership hero.


Our players are not babyed and don't need kisses and cuddles to get over a mistake they made. Their might have been aggressive language amongst players but it is nothing new.
