At least whoever it was has done the club a favour and expedited the inevitable.

This is not the sentiment at the club tonight.

They're not pleased that their agreed upon plans have been ruined by a leak to the media.

I'm hearing they're absolutely filthy about this and that only Brad's camp could've leaked it and that Brad would've OKed the leak or spoken to Robbo himself. Friday night and the club's senior people are real shi++y. Is that your mail?

If its the case then he goes tonight or Sunday. Preferably tonight.

I'm totally OK if people at the club are shitty. Because, well, we're shitty with them.

They're the ones who extended this guy. They're the ones who handed him all the power. Brad's agent has done us a favour.

The information I get doesn't go into that much detail, to be honest.

Just the particulars;

Club didn't leak it.
Didn't want it leaked.
Original plan was bye week.
It being leaked moves things up significantly.

I heard a rumour of a most machiavellian nature.

The club agreed to a mid-season handover, but after the Sydney debacle they leaked Brads's upcoming unemployment to the media, but framed Brads's agent in order to wash their hands of it, make it seems like it was Brad's agent who leaked it, forcing Brads to accept a face-saving early departure 'for the good of the club', and allowing the club to come out of it all smelling like roses and beginning their own rebuild a few weeks earlier than planned.

In order for this to work, the club admin have to seem very angry about the leak, and apparently, so far their acting skills have been admirable.

Don't take my word for it, this is just a rumour I heard from a mostly-reliable source.

Kinda changes the 'what's best for the club' mantra.

This is pretty high risk, reputation-wise. What if Robbo comes out and says he hasn't spoken to Brad's manager?

And if last Saturday was the catalyst, why did it take all week?

I see lots of parallels with Game of Thrones, another 10-year stint...

Only for a disappointing ending with multiple loose-threads never resolved?

Really who cared how it came to light, in retrospect brads own language recently pretty much suggested something was up. Basically Calling the sydney loss an "honerable loss" on the back 9f the 666 excuse ladt week was even a cop out for him.

I'm hearing the exact same thing and that the club is not so sure how amicable the coach is really feeling after today's developments.

Tough times for all. It’s done now. Must move on.
Important now to have some leadership and demonstrate to everyone else that we have a plan / strategy. Be transparent. Including members.
