For those who want Brad gone/don't think he is up to it.

Who would you replace him with as senior coach?

Myself.

In all seriousness, I would have grabbed Bolton but he is gone now.

As for the rest, it's impossible to know until they have done their presentations etc. I am sure there is a good coach waiting for an opportunity, and if we mess up the rest of this year we need to take a risk and see what that person can do.

Simpson and Beveredge are two examples of coaches turning their team around almost overnight. I am envious of them to be honest, and i'm prepared to go back if the risk doesn't pay off rather than plod along with the same failed approach

IF Brad wants to make a REAL statement he needs to drop one or more of those midfielders that are 95% responsible for our losses

Cunnington first of all needs to be dropped. He has had some rotten performances this year and you would have to blind to not see complacency coming into his game DROP HIM FFS (it may be too late because of finals but)

Zeebs needs to realise he can't just rock up to a professional afl game and just not show up. He has had many low under 20's possessions this year and when he does we usually lose. If he's supposed to be our "elite" midfielder he needs to f**** earn it

People will get angry at this but the captain should have been made a example of this year to send a strong message to the group. He grabs it, panics, sprays it and has hardly any on field leadership this year. He just seems to be going through the paces and I frankly as a supporter wished he got a fire under his ass and be a 35 + possession game, huge influence player but he isn't even at his age

Gibson. No core strength, hardly tackles, gets turned easily, can have a horrible disposal effencency but gets a game every week because he can run? Give me a break

We lost today because brad still doesn't have the capability to get us mentally ready for games. Our midfield didn't even show up. Today was a reality check that BS may have came back with a bit more brutality with his selection but he has lost some of the players already too far as they don't fear him nor feel like their spot is up for grabs

Maybe we don't have the depth to be able to drop one or two of the engine room players but why not take the risk for much greater success in the long term

Just over being "just" or "close" or "not quite there yet" it's NOT good enough for a coach to be in this position in 6 bloody years. He is just as complacent with his own role at the club as the players are

I just wish we had that killer instinct....
This sums up a lot of my thoughts.

Totally agree on Swallow's form since his achilles injury. If yr not leading by yr performance, you need to be leading with a lot of voice n be able to get those around you up and about. 95% of the time when under the pump we go into our shells and this starts with the skipper. I'm not a hater & I'm sure he's a great bloke, but his post game interview lost me. Not 1% of genuine hate at losing.

There was no snake oil for sale there. Just perception of the coaches state of mind. He seems up for the task, and the dead rubber vs the dogs didn't faze him. We are where we are and I am willing to give him my full support and see how this pans out

Well i wont. Ill hope for a flag, as its the only way id have belief in him as i think he is a shit coach as it stands at present. All he has shown is inconsistency and a penchant for a 50+ blowout loss with the occasional win against good opposition.

I'm with wildbill and phillyroo. We are in the finals for the second year in a row and I wasn't too concerned whether we won or lost yesterday and I'm not too concerned about next weeks result either. I'm more concerned about any potential injuries. Wright limped off in the last. Anyone know how he pulled up?
Also to the posters who want the coach sacked when was the last time a club sacked a coach on the back of making finals 2 years in a row?
I'm curious about this one; Harvey at Freo?

I don't know, just curious to see who on here has an idea of who should be coaching us instead of Brad.

So, who would you replace him with?

I myself would do my due diligence. Its true there are elements of luck when finding the right coach as in a right time, right place perspective but there are premierships out there waiting to be won by teams that connect the right lists with the right coaches.

When interviewing candidates, i want structure, innovation, excellent man management skills, proven track record ie. good apprenticeship under someone i highly rate, a culture of excellence to be instilled as a priority, clear set ups and explanations in all sectors of the ground, game plans, player types, assistant coaches, fitness etc etc

Is it possible Bomber, Woosha could bring a flag. Is Ratten ready after a couple of years under Clarkson? Cam Bruce? Adam Yze?

Picking a coach based on a power point presentation, Is not fool proof. I believe Brad Scott had a wonderful Power Point presentation. There are so many ex NM players/staff at other clubs doing so well. WB have got Jason McCartney and Neville Stibbard and their list is quality. If NM's list management isn't up to scratch as I suspect then we are in big trouble. We also need a stand alone VFL side.

Can't believe Adelaide are showing their hand before finals!
Its a classic the shit these clowns spurt on this board isnt it...

We dont want to win as finals are beckoning:drunk:

Why dont we play, Silver, Dumont, Harper, BMac etc etc then??

The truth is we got smacked by the Bulldogs and were made to look very slow and second rate.

For those who want Brad gone/don't think he is up to it.

Who would you replace him with as senior coach?
John Blakey.

We'd get a quality prospect as steak knives.

I like steak knives

Carey was steak knives.

What happens if we sneak a Flag and then fall back to 12th in 2016?

Sack Scotts?

Yes.

A 'Steven Bradbury' premiership shouldn't change the facts, which would be that we were nowhere near the best runner in the field - and never have been under his coaching - and have fallen away badly.

To those of you who want Scott sacked who would you replace him with?

And what if we won 14 flags in a row?

I'm not into dumping Scott, but Blakey could be a good choice if it comes down to it.

How many players that Pagan once coached are now good coaches? There's been a few.

Scott be pissed.

Curious as to how this is reflected during the week and in selection.

Scott be pissed.

I've seen it, I read the book, I watched the movie, I talked for hours about it, I've argued about it, I've written fan fiction, made memes, posted endless reams of shit online about it.

I heard this topic so often for so long I am now desensitised to it that I nothing it. It does nothing but bore me.

The man is pissed after every loss and it has happened so much that it means nothing now.

He could light a "Brad be pissed" bon fire in the centre square of Arden st while wearing goat horns and sacrificing BMac to the god of fury and I am not sure it would make a lick of difference to how I feel.

Well done Brad, we have hit apathy.
