THE GRANNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been a big week down at bayside with grand final fever at maxium degrees. The players have treated the week pretty well as they have had a lot of community events to attend. They had the grand final parade yesterday morning where they did a lap of the concourse shopping centre then players presented with thier match day jumper. Players desi haynes, tim collins and doug ensor were given stars on the prestigious beaumaris footpath of fame located at the east concourse.

I belive it mite be one of the last chances to ask di out again so im going say maybe we head to the sandy hotel before the game for lovely sunday roast accompained with a few fine glasses of penfolds grange as if you could turn that down.

Team of year still work in progress should be done next week sorry for any incovience.

cya at the game

the time has come for the granny today!!!!!

My preview

Expecting a a very good game as both teams are exciting too watch. I like the way caulfield play there running games and there zoning which has been very tough to break. On the other hand I like beaumaris for the way they attack the ball and tackling which has seem them get to where they are.
It would be a coin flip to deciede the winner today however I think beaumaris are going to sneak home with a 2 point win.
Tips for the game
Best on ground-S.Coote(beaumaris)B.carboni(caulfiled)
First goal-Beaumaris
First behind-caulfield
First goal scorer-c.langdon
First behind scorer- J.Perkins
half time/full time-caulfield/beaumaris
first team to 20 points-caulfield

all the best

Caulfield won the toss and kicked with the breeze, 6-9-45 to 0-0-0 at quarter time.

In the second Beauy kicked 5-3-33 and Caulfield 1-1 against the wind to be 7-10-52 at oranges time.

Strong defence and continued inaccuracy from the forwards restricted the Fields to 4 points for the third quarter while in calmer conditions the Sharks pulled back another 3-3. Three quarter time scores 7-14-56 to 8-6-54.

Dead even contest in the last, Caulfield bagging 2-2 and Beaumaris 2-5. Final scores 9-16-70 to 10-11-71.

Bloody good game of footy, was hoping for extra time but it wasn't to be. Both sides deserved to win, maybe Beauy just that little bit more after staging a great comeback after being scoreless for the first quarter.

Re: C section 2010

Great to see Ben Gay poll the most comp votes for Rupo this year, started off very slow but got his act together the second half of the year and showed why he could be the next captain of Rupo.
