NOBS to open their account by 17 points
Ormond to leave only one OC unbeaten by 19 points
OC to continue winning run by 27 points (danger game ,form here terrible)
Ruppo to win by 28 points in free flowing shoot out
Friars to win a battle at home by 6 points.

If J Barker plays NOBS will win, if not i'm tipping the Vultures by a whisker.
Ormond to win a tough one at the Gunn - 20 pts
Camberwell to shrug off Monash - 10 Goals
Rupo to win by 9 goals - No free flowing shootout here, Reds have nothing up forward bar Davis.
Whitefriars to win at home - 10 pts

Old Camberwell looking the goods and with Glenn 'braino' Ormsby to be back in the next couple of weeks they could go through the season unbeaten

Brooksy.... Glenn "Braino" Ormsby???? Can't see him displacing Tallis, Beranger, Bayford, Heffernan from either the guts or half back. His impact might be that those boys remain well hydrated - when he runs them water. Next you'll be heralding the return of Skillsy Beckett to ensure a premiership. What rubbish.

RB,
Listen here you muppet, Braino has been part of our team for five or six years now. I have no question that he is in our best 22. We are a loyal team and even though we got some massive recruits he fits in perfectly..... He may not be in the side due to an injury but come finals time he will be in our starting 18.

Lets see how Camberwell go without Loats this weekend.

Going Places, your remarks in regard to Old Camberwell being cheats are as offensive to me, as they are misinformed.
If there is evidence of wrongdoing at my club of choice,by all means provide the relevant authorities with it.
If not, keep your defamortory rubbish to yourself.

All that i said was that i think they are cheats and everyone is entitled to their own opinion (dont see that as defamotory rubbish) Not once in my post did i mention a thing about money or anything else as people have been eluding to. I happen to know a tall fella with a German sounding name that played for you over the last couple of years pretty well. I dont think a lot more needs to be said.

Kane Batzloff? How are they cheating? Put up or shut up...explain how they are cheating.
its very easy to be the accussor...

Would anyone know the last club to be found out and punished by the VAFA.
It seems that a club would need to be dobbed in or a disgruntled player with information to catch an Amateur Club out.
I would like to think there very few clubs abusing the tradition of Amateur Football or am i being naieve? (if That is how you spell it!!!)

Once again all I said was that i knew him, i never said anything else about it. He has left Cambrwell now. I havent accused anyone, all i gave was an opinion. I dont know why this is such a touchy subject Brian!!!!!!
I have put up: My opinion, and i am sure that is not against the rules of the forum.

I know quite a few ammo players from different clubs, some of who have played high standards of other football and i dont think that you are being naieve (I hope you knew how to spell it) As always though i feel that there would be some exceptions to the rule (it is very hard to police...I Would Assume)

Kane Batzloff?? He now plays for Bonbeach and has a very impressive collection of jumpers. Bonbeach outbid Mordialloc for his services. He is a dual premiership player with Edi-Asp when they heaps of cash to splash about. Before that he played for Parkdale when they were in the SFL. He left Parkdale because they couldn't match the money other clubs were paying.

He also played for Old Camberwell for a while. This was strange because he lived and worked so far away from Old Camberwell and didn't know many players there.

This guy is a joke.He calls them cheats then when challenged, wont say anything but speaks in riddles about past players and rumours.

Yes, you are entitled to your opinion but when people ask you to explain why they are cheats, why don't you explain??

he ended up at OC for 12 months because of a Real Estate connection.Kane works in that field. No dramas with his playing at OC.

I've been missing the Reds diaorrea that's usually on the baord 24/7. Dont tell me you fellas are finally realising you wont waltz to victory this year despite all predictions? Seems to be a bit of focus thrown on the OC in stead of focusing on the limp wristed reds.

Maybe the two posters who pumped up the Reds' tyres have finally got the message the rest of the Reds people have been trying to get through to them over the past 2 months. I think even one of their coaching staff has stated they would take 6 weeks of the season to settle.

Their fall back on why they aren't dominating is that they still need to "gel" with eachother. Davis mentioned this in his after match speech last week. Apparently they are still a few weeks away from "gel-ing".

What a load of rubbish...

Don't see OC having that trouble.

OC have so far played NOBs and Monash - you'd rate Ormond (finalists 2006) a fair way ahead of both those sides wouldn't you?

Gee guys, one loss and everyone is off the wagon! Let's assess things after 6 rounds.

predictions;

Reds to bounce back out at Rupo and silence the critics

Nobs over Parky

Carey easily against ormond

Oc by plenty

Friars to record first win in a tight one at home.

Watch the boys gel this week!

Probably because all the folks who keep mentioning the Reds the most, those being non-Reds folks who continually can them, seem to have finally moved on to just barracking for their own team and not jumping on the hook every time a rare pro-Reds comment is made.

So long as I haven't spoken to soon of course ...

Maybe they have had a reality check!!!

Whoops!

And it takes a Reds fan to remind us all that there are more teams in the comp than just Fitzroy!

( )

Bloody Oath you would! :p

Let's see Old Camberwell when they have played stronger opposition.

As for the Reds, could be a long year... but we'll wait until Rd 6 till we start the real bagging (if warranted!)
