As long as he keeps the effort level up I’d be happy to keep giving him exposure. Is there really someone in the VFL banging the door down? I don’t see it.

Poulter’s two-way running seems fine to me, and we’re not competing for a flag…

Yeah, there is certainly an argument either way. I just feel like he could do with a couple of games where he gets himself 20+ on a wing for a few weeks consecutively, and frankly he needs to learn to be a little stronger on and around the ball.

Had 2 really good Moments I felt that showed his Class.

1st was when he hit Bianco on the Chest in 3rd from Wide Angle. Like to see him take game on bit more.

The Kick in 4th to Elliot in between 2 Saints Player that led to shot on Goal.

Well once he gets Bigger and Stronger that will Improve.

Can make a Case for either one. Get more of the Ball at VFL or keep playing in a Crap AFL Team as runs both ways and can add some Class

Alongside Bianco Poulter been our Stand Out Prospects
I don't think anyone is disputing that Dave.
It's a question of managing them in their best interests for the long term.

I think he's close to needing a rest. It isn't a reflection on his ability. It's simply a matter of giving his young boy's body a rest. Rest assured the current coaching group see him as part of the future as will the new coaching group when they take the reins.

Then IF he needs a Rest would that be something the Footy Department would know more about then Fans watching the Game?

Then IF he needs a Rest then he Gets It. I just thought he had a Rest 2 Weeks ago why does he need one now?

Good point.
The thing is that the game is incredibly demanding both physically and mentally.... and young players not conditioned over several seasons often find it hard to cope with the demands. As you say, IF he needs a rest he'll get one. BTW, how was that pass down the middle he bit off in the last that resulted in a goal?
The boy has what it takes, but he is a boy nontheless

Very true TD and we are pleased with their progress but their bodies are still immature and too much physical pressure over a prolonged period can cause ongoing physical problems.
Best to cycle them through to keep their bodies maturing at a decent rate without rushing it.

He is lining up on the wrong wing.
Every time he receives a handball he needs to arc back onto his left as he has no right foot....it amazes we pay coaches to see this sh*t and they can’t

I hope you don’t mind me pointing out the error of your ways …

… you’re assuming that we kick forward. In this gameplan we kick backwards, which makes Caleb perfectly suited to the wing he’s playing on. 🤔
