We'll cream them. The Saints haven't beaten us in 5 years.

We hadn't beaten Essendo for 5 years. Or Collingwood for 6.
Be warned - records will NOT get your team over the line against St Kilda, as Carlton found outr last year at OO.

I think Geelong, (a fully fit) Port and Brisbane will trouble us, but not prepared to concede any losses right now.

It'll happen. Probably when nobody expects it. Hapened to Carlton in 95 who only lost to St Kilda and Sydney. Happened to Essendon in 2000 (I think) when the Bullies were the only side to beat them.

My team CAN beat the Saints, but likely is they WON'T.

Won't York Park get a blockbuster in a month's time.

St Kilda v Port Adelaide!!!

their playing with so much confidence

Aussie is on fire so is Rewolt, no-one is gonna beat them if they keep playing like they did today

2004 premiers, i can feel it

The perfect reason to abolish this priority pick non-sense.

In 2000 we would have still picked Riewoldt with our selection for finishing last and in 2001 we would have still taken Ball.

So according to you we are only doing well because of Koschitzke and Clarke. Two promising kids but I didn't know that they played that big a role in the 9-0 start.

A word of warning for all you Saint supporters.

True your team is playing very good football ATM, but last time I looked at the conditions for the winning the AFL flag, it is not handed out to the top of the ladder team in May but only after you WIN on the last Saturday in September.

You would be better advised to save up all the chest puffing and self congratulations until AFTER you win it if you are good enough on the day and not be too ready to pat yourself on the back BEFORE you have even made the Grand Final.

Surely Collingwood's case last year where the media had them winning the flag before they even played the game and your team's relatively recent experience of blowing the '97 GF would teach players and fans alike the dangers of over confidence and getting of ahead of yourself.

True the Blues are no longer a power and most unlikely to be finalist any time in the next 5 or 6 years or maybe even longer, let alone even be thinking about being Grand Finalists. However two things I have learnt in following football for over 35 years is to enjoy the wins along the way but as far flags go, football finals in September are a completely different ball game altogether and it is good to remember the over used cliche of "don't count your chickens before they hatch".
