I've never suggested any cut-off point, at least in a legal sense. Its just a matter of risk/benefit. But again I'll state again it again for your benefit. More onerous as in 'more difficult'. Gardiner for all his bad-boy reputation, has never been alledged to have committed any sort of serious crime. If he was a person of the character of the pre-reformed Chopper Read, then maybe the Hun would be in with a shot, but he is not and your argument is pure fancy.Sounds like you want it both ways. Previously you have said that papers can make up what they want without fear of a lawsuit as long as it's consistent with that person's character but here you are saying they can't? You're saying there is somesort of cut ff point regarding seriousness? That's a contradiction.
