I can't see Ken stepping down. He's got too much pride for that. I think most Port fans would agree with that as well.
Pride? He’s on what 600-700k a year? It’s not about pride, it’s about negotiating a financial exit.

If Hawthorn thump Port, there'll be an announcement euphemistically saying that Ken has agreed to step down as Port Adelaide coach. Maybe Ken stays on as a lame duck if they lose a close game but a thumping loss will be the end for Ken.
Pride in his bank balance maybe.I can't see Ken stepping down. He's got too much pride for that. I think most Port fans would agree with that as well.
I can only assume this is a taper alias.Kenny just about has the best home and away record in the comp. He is a master at getting average teams into finals. It's inevitable that at some stage this will translate into success. Sheer weight of numbers will win out in the end. Port people just need to hold the faith and stick fat with Ken. He will take them to flag glory. Just a matter of time.
The pressure was deplorable.Random aside - more needs to be made about how insanely clean Geelong were, especially early. The pressure was not bad at all, they just handled it.
Ken is selfish not proud or loyal.Pride? He’s on what 600-700k a year? It’s not about pride, it’s about negotiating a financial exit.
So he's better than Clarkson and Hardwick?? Higher win percentage.. and all that.Kenny has a 60% win ratio. Thats elite. He's an elite coach. The stats don't lie.
Port should extend his contract.
Get it done Kochy.
Clarkson and Hardwick coached great sides. Ken is punching up with a middling squad. So he's better than Clarkson and Hardwick?? Higher win percentage.. and all that.
Was Kochie at the game?Fans booed a few weeks back, if we get torched by 40+ who knows what happens post game this week.
Being at the game last week, the crowd were either very angry or very numb.
The place needs a reset, the anxiety and fear of losing stems from the head coach, it’s infiltrated the whole place.
The fans are cooked.
Good point. Go look at Port from 2020 to now.Clarkson and Hardwick coached great sides. Ken is punching up with a middling squad.
They might win at home this week against Hawthorn, but they have no nope of beating the Swans in Sydney. Kenny should look at the West Coast job?
Which is exactly why well beat Hawthorn and lose to Sydney.Lol were a better chance against Sydney who we've beaten 7 times in a row than we are against hawthorn
A national "Week of Ken" if you willDon't let a few disgruntled Port Adelaide fans sway you. Kenny is the sentimental favourite, should Pirt Adelaide win the premiership there will be parties galore Australia wide.
And multiple statues of Kenny made for display outside Adelaide Oval, the MCG and AFL HQ
A national "Week of Ken" if you will
Is there a Nobel prize for coaching awarded? There will be nowAlbo would be wise to ride the public adoration and make Kenny the AOTY for 2025.
A statue of Ken holding the premiership cup aloft in one hand and a can of Pepsi max in the other. ChillsIf he wins a flag I'm all for a week of Ken. They can build one of those gold statues in my front yard.
He won't though, so this is all a moot point.
Pride? He’s on what 600-700k a year? It’s not about pride, it’s about negotiating a financial exit.
So was Adam Simpson.Kenny having to point out to the Alberton hillbillies that he's contracted.
Poor Ken.
Simpson was well liked by his fanbase. Something you Alberton hillbillies could learn from.So was Adam Simpson.
