Martin Gleeson's usually better than this; he's factually incorrect about Levi in his article, saying that he'd been dropped for the game against Brisbane, when instead he was rushed back from a broken thumb/finger and broken ribs too early and his game requires him to crash and bash.

My question is, though, do we need to be far more transparent with our player's injury issues? We're fairly notorious for not giving anything away in our public releases concerning injury', '1-2 weeks' being an in joke of a kind. Is it any wonder, really, that we're getting potted from all quarters from the media who are ignoring the amount and quality of injuries we've had over the course of the season, if only because we simply don't tell them?

Do they get paid for these articles? FFS I could write this BS

Q. How does a club keep its nerve and stay patient for a long-term plan, when it exists in a world with a 24-hour sports news cycle, a ratio of journos to players that's embarrassing and some impatient supporters?

A. Ignore the noise. Stay the course. Simple - not easy - but simple.

Anyone else thing the Adelaide are desperate article is a bit strange? Highlighting the need for 24-27 year olds whilst talking about another clubs need for our pick? Surely negotiations have started no?

Indeed.

Interestingly not a word about our record membership in the media.

Spoils the story that the club are imploding and the fans are restless. It certainly insulates the club somewhat; while pressure is certainly being brought to bear, the administration can take implicit assent from our membership numbers that the majority of Carlton fans are behind them, for the time being at least.

Its OK Kane thinks having the most equal most injuries of any team doesn't provide an excuse for our performances and our players lost aren't equivalent to Adelaide's injury list..

Marchbank, Plowman, Williamson, Weitering etc are all replaceable yeah sure ...who with O'Shea, Mullet etc....

The guy is a Carlton hating moron, radio equivalent to click bait.

C'mon someone in Melbourne call him up and give him some factual information.

Never ring them because that's what they want and forms part of their KPI's.

Is anyone else deadset amazed by how much we are talked about? In the past week alone there has been articles on
-Harry McKay - Where is he at
-Should we trade pick 1 for more picks
-Do we need to lose against Brisbane to ensure pick 1
-Brendon Bolton - Has never played the game before - is he the right man
-Should we go after Shiel
-Murphy as captain
-Do we have mental issues at the club
-Is the salary cap penalties still hurting us
-Do we need lukosious
-Our leadership problems at the club
-Toxic culture
-Whats gone wrong and who is to blame
-Is Brisbane ahead of us now

Along with the fact we say we dont want a priority pick and were slammed. If we said we did want one we wouldve got slammed. Then KCornes saying we said we dont but we actually do. You cant win

We are talked about so much more than any club its astounding. We are bottom of the ladder who cares
