Fadge predicted 16th finishing position. What's the bye got to do with it? Fadge's prediction was for end of season not at the bye.
They learnt after the freeman and scharenberg fiasco not to worry about early picks coz they phuc em upNo chance of the Pies ever f*****g up an early pick.
The hypocrisy is laughable isn't itThe same way you blokes disrespect Walsh.
23yo in his 1st finals series last year & wins the Gary Ayres medal, despite not even playing for a team that played in the Grand Final, which shows how much he dominated.
All we hear from your mob is how poor a kick he is, how screwed his back is & how he's finished as a player.
We can't disrespect Bobby though!!!!
Walsh is a handy player, but surely you would be the first to admit he hasn't come on as you'd hoped after his 30 Brownlow vote season in 2021, and he's not a great kick or decision maker. The same way you blokes disrespect Walsh.

They will be losing 10 players over the next few years and they won't be able to replace them all with trades and free agents, they're going to have to hit the draft sooner or later. They learnt after the freeman and scharenberg fiasco not to worry about early picks coz they phuc em up
Injury troll? Classy. They learnt after the freeman and scharenberg fiasco not to worry about early picks coz they phuc em up
No, I didn't.Fadge predicted 16th finishing position.
We finished 8th
The season was 24 weeks long. At the end of the season, where a team finishes is there for all to see on the ladder. I don't think a team that finishes 16th can play in finals. Hereith endeth the lesson .
Yes, you didNo, I didn't.
You always have excuses for everything, some of you are weak as piss.Walsh is a handy player, but surely you would be the first to admit he hasn't come on as you'd hoped after his 30 Brownlow vote season in 2021, and he's not a great kick or decision maker.
Walsh played 3 games in the 2023 finals series - no other team played more than that. The only difference being, Carlton and GWS had easier opposition across their 3 games (by virtue of playing an Elimination Final), compared to Collingwood and Brisbane, who played a Qualifying Final in that same week.
He had a major back surgery lmao... No s***Walsh is a handy player, but surely you would be the first to admit he hasn't come on as you'd hoped after his 30 Brownlow vote season in 2021, and he's not a great kick or decision maker.

Not my problem if you guys can't understand the context of a discussion.Yes, you did
The grand final is for double points u know . Walsh wasn't afforded that luxury, yet still won the ayres medal.Walsh is a handy player, but surely you would be the first to admit he hasn't come on as you'd hoped after his 30 Brownlow vote season in 2021, and he's not a great kick or decision maker.

I'm 100% positive you said we'd finish 16th and it's been quoted in here on many occasions. Backtracking much ?Not my problem if you guys can't understand the context of a discussion.
It's been explained before, multiple times.
Yes, it isAh, no it's not....
More lessons for you guys to learn about finals football.
Oh my.
Well you're wrong, as usual.I'm 100% positive you said we'd finish 16th and it's been quoted in here on many occasions. Backtracking much ?
Oh boy.....Yes, it is
Edit - sorry, it's loaded by 1.5 times
Did you predict Carlton to finish in the top 8 ?Well you're wrong, as usual.
And of course it's been quoted, by Carlton nuffies who can't (or choose not to) understand context.
Is it not loaded for the grand final ? Tell me I'm wrongOh boy.....
No, I didn't.Did you predict Carlton to finish in the top 8 ?
Oh my God.Is it not loaded for the grand final ? Tell me I'm wrong
Circa 2013, when they brought in Malthouse and Thomas.Carlton haven't drafted a premiership player in...how long?
I just looked at the ladder yep, Carlton still 8thNo, I didn't.
And I was much closer than many who predicted them to be top 2 or top 4 and contend for the premiership.
Nonetheless, they were far from the 8th best team in the competition this year, as has been discussed and highlighted.
But hopefully that 8th position finish gives the Carlton brainstrust false hope... 'we're not far away, just a few tweaks and luck with injury....'
