What's the bye got to do with it? Fadge's prediction was for end of season not at the bye.
Fadge predicted 16th finishing position.
We finished 8th
The season was 24 weeks long. At the end of the season, where a team finishes is there for all to see on the ladder. I don't think a team that finishes 16th can play in finals. Hereith endeth the lesson .

The same way you blokes disrespect Walsh.

23yo in his 1st finals series last year & wins the Gary Ayres medal, despite not even playing for a team that played in the Grand Final, which shows how much he dominated.

All we hear from your mob is how poor a kick he is, how screwed his back is & how he's finished as a player.

We can't disrespect Bobby though!!!!
The hypocrisy is laughable isn't it

Walsh is a handy player, but surely you would be the first to admit he hasn't come on as you'd hoped after his 30 Brownlow vote season in 2021, and he's not a great kick or decision maker.

Walsh played 3 games in the 2023 finals series - no other team played more than that. The only difference being, Carlton and GWS had easier opposition across their 3 games (by virtue of playing an Elimination Final), compared to Collingwood and Brisbane, who played a Qualifying Final in that same week.

They learnt after the freeman and scharenberg fiasco not to worry about early picks coz they phuc em up
They will be losing 10 players over the next few years and they won't be able to replace them all with trades and free agents, they're going to have to hit the draft sooner or later.

Injury troll? Classy.

Nick Daicos, Daisy Thomas, Scott Pendlebury, Alan Didak...all top 5 picks and all premiership stars.

Carlton haven't drafted a premiership player in...how long?

You always have excuses for everything, some of you are weak as piss.

The grand final is for double points u know . Walsh wasn't afforded that luxury, yet still won the ayres medal.

Did you predict Carlton to finish in the top 8 ?
No, I didn't.

And I was much closer than many who predicted them to be top 2 or top 4 and contend for the premiership.

Nonetheless, they were far from the 8th best team in the competition this year, as has been discussed and highlighted.

But hopefully that 8th position finish gives the Carlton brainstrust false hope... 'we're not far away, just a few tweaks and luck with injury....'
