So I don’t like Collingwood. End of story.
Carlton will be the better team next year and it won’t even be close.

Peter Moore kicked 5 in 77 IIRC and was winning us the game until Barrassi (The Great Enemy) benched Blight to pinch the draw.I don't know - I'm not old enough to remember how well each of them performed in finals.
You tell me?

I gotta tell ya, people are saying, and when I came into thus thread I said "Carlton, they're weak" and they said "oh no they got Curnow, they got McKay" Please, give me a break.
Curnow. Little Charlie I call him. Small game specialist. So sad.
Checks calendar.

You don't get many smaller games than a dead rubber for Collingwood once they'd secured a top 2 spot...He kicked 6 on your captain not long ago
He kicked a combined 2 goals in two games against Collingwood this year, two narrow defeats that if turned into two narrow wins, would have placed Carlton in the top four.He kicked 6 on your captain not long ago
They know nothing about good team footy, only stars who carry their spuds teammates. Collingwood have always been a better side with Cox in than without, even in his first years. He was a very valuable part of our premiership team.If Carlton supporters actually understood anything about football, Cox is not there to do anything except compete in the forward line so that the small forwards can do there thing. The fact that he is a decent back up ruck and can kick a couple of goals is a bonus.
He is vital to our game plan and it was no coincidence that when he came back at the end of the year Schultz played much better and we were beating the Premiership team...
Not in a final obviously and mainly due to the umpires. He kicked 6 on your captain not long ago
No current season stats available
Maybe he's busy wolfing down grits and cornbread
THAT WAS THE SPACE LASERS, YOU KNOW WHO IT WAS.He kicked 6 on your captain not long ago
Three flags in sixty five years and countless grand final defeats. That must be very embarrassing indeed for you?I am sure Carlton would love to be as washed up and useless as two flags in the last 14 years. Actually, they would take two Preliminary Final wins in the last 14 years. Carlton the most insipid club of the 21st century.
Nah unlike Carlton supporters I don’t get embarrassed by my club. 2 flags in 14 years is beautiful especially when Carlton haven’t won a modern era flag. Now that is embarrassingThree flags in sixty five years and countless grand final defeats. That must be very embarrassing indeed for you?
We have people on here who have seen the ultimate success, the Blues getting the better of the Pies in a grand final.Nah unlike Carlton supporters I don’t get embarrassed by my club. 2 flags in 14 years is beautiful especially when Carlton haven’t won a modern era flag. Now that is embarrassing
No one is saying Cox is a better home and away player than Curnow. You'd have to be really thick to think that is what has been said.
I'll say it slowly for you....
1. Mason Cox is CLEARLY a better FINALS player than Charlie Curnow.
2. Finals games are more important than home and away games.
3 Performance in finals is more important than performance in home and away games.
4. Players who don't perform in finals are useless when it comes to winning a flag.
5. Winning a flag is what it's all about.
Have a think about it and clearly state your reasons for disagreeing with the above assertions.
8 times actually, only Pies supporters well into their 90s come closeWe have people on here who have seen the ultimate success, the Blues getting the better of the Pies in a grand final.
