That's when the playing field is levelled and Mason Cox really comes into his own.I’m looking forward to his Total Solar Eclipse game plan…

Dark Side of the CoxThat's when the playing field is levelled and Mason Cox really comes into his own.
We saw the next in line last week (Mcinnes) who showed he's not quite up to it yet. So it's easy to say let's drop WHE but it's not as easy to find a replacement for him. Baring in mind WHE was running in to some decent form before being fairly quiet the past 2 weeks. With Checkers looking like missing, Wilbur will become an important player for us this week up forward.
When the defence is set you have to go long to the hotspot and even if you're not going to mark many, you've got to bring some balls to ground. If mihocek misses he just isn’t replaceable…
Assuming he plays, cox might take a mark or two down there… ditto a resting Cameron
So why not experiment and go smaller in the forward line?
Play McReery
Give Sidebottom a full game there
Maybe young Henry will thrive down at full forward
Going tall and kicking it in long inside 50 is less likely to work with Petty, Lever and Gawn floating down there anyhow
He is about as important as Motlop is for Port.
And Motlop is one of the only players I wouldn’t play ahead of WHE.
Which says a lot about Motlop.
I hope WHE kicks 5 this week and we smash the Dreamons. However, one swallow does not a summer make.

I don't think many, if any, would have him in the first 12-15 named. The reality is that we have no depth and struggle to get to 22 even with him in it. The vfl kids just aren't ready yet.The last time WHE kicked 4 was in 2019
While his best is very good… his reputation proceeds him
I can handle him being on the list for another year or two and selected when his form is good
What I can’t handle is him… week in, week out… being one of the first 12-15 names selected
Thoroughly overrated on here by some

Especially against the raining premiersHow long after the rain do we have before the post-rain game plan goes to shit and we have to revert to our pre-rain game plan? It really highlights how tough coaching is.

We can make any changes we want before 5om tonight without incurring a fineIf Mihocek is injured, pay the fine and play Johnson.
Dreaming, I know.
We know what out of form means when you play Coll. Jake stringer becomes Dustin MartinWe can make any changes we want before 5om tonight without incurring a fine
More importantly any word on whether the sore Petty will get up for Dees?
If him May and Smith all miss, the out of form Jake Lever could be exposed on Monday
I have a sneaking suspicion we might see Kelly get a run if Mihocek doesn't come up.

That crate of iceberg lettuce will be worth about $10,000 at today’s prices..Sorting spelling on this site is about as popular as a crate of iceberg lettuce at a Darling Downs Cattlemen's Association annual dinner.
Great newsCheckers will play. Participated in majority of today's session.
