Hoping that it isn't serious to Pendles. Very worried though. Have been looking forward to seeing him and Wells run around together.

Changes at this stage, pending injuries:

Appleby out for Langdon
Mayne out for Fas
Blair out for Wells

Your opinion on Daicos's game in the VFL?
His stats look good......I know stats aren't everything.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get a game against the Cats.
VFL watchers, is Daicos close to a call up? He has had a few good games stats wise so far this year.
I was surprised by his stats, as I thought he started well then faded. In terms of his output he stood out early and for the first time I’ve noticed looked a good class above, like an AFL ready player.

That said I'd have Sier ahead on both form and structure and I suspect the club would also have Wells ahead. Personally I wouldn't though as Daicos' form has been superior over the last month and given we're still a developing side we should be picking the kid if it's a close call.

Mayne 80 metres gained. Crocker 173m.

Blair 129 metres gained. Thomas 298m.

Adams had a particularly poor return of 108 metres gained which is miles off his 2017 average of 362m and half as much of his 2018 average.

I thought Mayne played a marginally better game than Crocker while Blair was decent enough in the 1st and 4th but was barely sighted in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Adams stays while only one of Mayne, Crocker and Blair should be considered IMO.

Crocker worked hard to get himself into some good spots, but his execution was pretty disappointing. Had a couple of coach killers that had me with my head in my hands.

If Pendles is out then Wells would be the closest "like for like" midfielder. No one could replace Pendles for the diversity of roles he plays, but Wells has that Rolls Royce class to him that Pendles does.

Not Worried about Missing Pendles as I think we played our best Footy was when he was out and Steele was Captain
I think that undervalues Pendles ability to be used in a variety of roles. Don't think we can compete against the better teams without our best players. There are few players that deliver accurate and Penetrating balls out of stoppage/inside 50 as consistently as Pendles.

Time to unleash the beast "SIER" like for like with pendles and get rid of the dead wood in Blair, Mayne and Crocker and relace them with Brown, Fasolo and Wells and we suddenly look quite potent

I mean, ideally Mayne, Blair and Crocker come out at some point but with Pendles likely not getting up for the game, I can see only one straightforward out. And another likely but not so straightforward.

Wells in for Pendles.

And depending on best fit for Geelong one of Fasolo or Sier could/should come in. I personally think Crocker has runs on the board this year and can build and grow as opposed to Mayne and Blair. So if Sier comes in, it's at Blair's expense and if Fasolo, it's at Mayne's expense.

But I really believe getting Maynard and especially Langdon back is imperative to the function of our backline. And more important than moving Blair/Mayne out of the side.

So if possible:

Out: Appleby, Blair, Pendlebury (inj)
In: Maynard, Langdon, Wells

In this scenario, Wells for Pendles straight swap, Maynard for Apples straight swap and Blair coming out let's Adams go back to a permanent spot in the midfield so that Langdon can come back in.

I really don't want to have four changes this week though.

So he's doing ok.

Where are we gonna play the kid? Sorry don't follow the VFL at all really.

Only position available if we have a full team is Browns or Varcoes position.
