Chicken Little muchWould've preferred Freo to have won that. Now we're gonna be the targets of all their frustration. I'll be content if we keep it under 65 points

People who understand football agree.I thought Scott was good yesterday
Schultz murders us every time and Switkowski is imo amongst the top ten most intelligent footballers in the competition. Frederick's too quick for any of our lads too. Their keys forwards are meh but I can see Fyfe outpointing anyone we put on him. Too mobile for the talls, too good above his head for a medium defender. Add to that their arsenal of attacking half-backs (our kryptonite), the fact that it's in Perth, and the likely rocket they'll cop from the coaches..... Nup. This is gonna be nastyI see it the other way. If the Saints were able to get them, we must also be some chance given we actually have some forwards who could trouble their defenders.
Plus their forward line is limp.
Come back to this post this time next weekChicken Little much
AgreedAs long as we score 85 or more that will be OK.
Watch the replay closely againI thought Scott was good yesterday
Surely Treacy won't play next week, totally spudded it up. Would expect Amiss to replace him next week.Corr will come in for a small
Taberner - Corr
Treacy - Logue
Fyfe - Bonar
Jackson - ziebell
You’re literally just saying shit without meaning now.Watch the replay closely again
First quarter for instance and not just ball in hand but Baileys poor positioning that has poor flow on effects for the team
^Tell me you are a footy illiterate without telling meYou’re literally just saying s**t without meaning now.
Go on then. Give us all some time stamps of Bailey’s “poor positioning” that led to “poor flow on effects for the team” in the first quarter.^Tell me you are a footy illiterate without telling me
You merely need to just look at the first 2 eagles goalsGo on then. Give us all some time stamps of Bailey’s “poor positioning” that led to “poor flow on effects for the team” in the first quarter.
Or at least provide something that isn’t “HuHhH dRoP sCoTt”.
Wouldn’t surprise me if either Goater or Bergman miss out this week. Could see Clarko swinging in either Howe or Tucker due to their physicality and ability to play multiple roles.
Howe @193cm wouldn’t be a bad match up for Fyfe.
This.Alistair ain’t swinging 3-4 changes after a two-time spooner has a R1 win.
Goldy for X. Lots of love and homework on structure to slow the Freo boys.
Honourable loss would be great next week.
Could add TT and A.Hall to that list.I think he'll keep his spot for now, but won't get near a top 10 BF finish in 2023 . That is what's important.
At some point, the below will all be available
- Goldy
- Tucker
- Corr
- McKay
- Archer
- CCJ
- Wardlaw
My mind boggles as to what our selected side will look like.
As for changes I have NFI but hope Tucker plays
I'm not sure about the last sentence, but I think you're on point for the rest. Clarkson has been universally lauded on here, and every sentence he utters about his approach contains the word "stability", and yet we're having the same old conversations about dropping Turner, Scott, Taylor, Bonar, <insert name of whipping boy>Alistair ain’t swinging 3-4 changes after a two-time spooner has a R1 win.

What Turner offers (until we have a better option) is a component piece in the modern way to play football, which is to prevent the opposition exiting their D50; or put another way, defence is the foundation of offence. On which basis, Turner will be playing next weekOffers nothing offensively.
Agree. Goldy's inclusion is a necessity. I rate Corr as better than Bonar, so I expect him to be included as well. I have no idea who Corr would push out.I'm not sure about the last sentence, but I think you're on point for the rest. Last time I looked, it’s a fast track over West, to drop 1 of possibly only 2 elite hard runners we have, would appear crazy. There’s absolutely no chance Scott doesn’t play.Yes, I did. Scott wasn't terrible (really, no one was for us today) but we need to make a change to get Corr into the backline. Scott is the most expendable/replaceable IMO.
Bailey Scott was named and started off the HBF.
Take out Scott. Add in Corr. Move Ziebell from CHB to HBF.
time for a change of username? In: Goldy & Corr
Out: Xerri & Bergman
