He will likely be the sub so technically hasn’t been dropped from the 23Absolutely. He’s been dropped and has to earn his place back.

So he could still have a break out game on Sunday! He will likely be the sub so technically hasn’t been dropped from the 23
Stop acting like a child.Looking forward to McCreery getting more than 10 disposals.
Lighten up Apex, it’s Friday night.Stop acting like a child.
He was never in the frame I’m more just tired of the process. I’d prefer playing with 21 over both Brown and Chugg, but if it came down to it I’d go Tyler because he’s at least shown something at VFL level to justify selection. If Chugg was debuting wouldn’t have it been announced by our media team already with an accompanying video of his teammates clapping?
In saying given the selection patterns this year this seams spot on. I’d prefer Chugg over Tyler atm though.
Brown to his credit made a contribution in the last with a couple of great pressure acts and a goal from the goal square but was basically unsighted up until that point and when he was he looked rushed and off the pace of the game IMO. Importantly he wasn't used through the midfield and was basically in the role McCreery has occupied also.
It's kind of strange to me that some have painted Brown as some kind of underdog in relation to McCreery when Beau is 16 months younger, played 3 less games, wasn't some prized draft selection or son of a former gun.
He's done well so far to give a good impression of himself to both Buckley and McRae, be given opportunity and do a better job of taking his chances than Tyler.
While much has been made of his form this season it's interesting to note that his 7 games this season have generated 7 goal assists while last season it was only 2 from his 12 games.
He's going alright.
It's up to Tyler now to continue to work hard on whatever he needs to develop to become a regular senior player. It is a shame his surname is BrownIt is a shame that Tyler's last name is Brown.
See what you are saying but there is no merit selecting T Brown and then playing him as a forward when he stinks it up in midfield
… no more logic than there is playing Bianco or Kelly as a forward
McReery as a forward however..
Or ultimately… I wish they’d just play McInness as the last mid, knowing very well he can at least semi-adequately rotate forward at least
Why does nobody consider that McInness could develop into a marking forward? He's 194cm and athletic.
Pleasantly surprised the Brown experiment seems to be over. I said 6 weeks ago we should give him 4 weeks in a row to show something and he played 2 good minutes of footy in that time. I thought those two good acts he did might have tricked them into playing him again but it looks like the selectors have realised 6 disposals is not worthy of keeping a place in the team.
Imo McInnes should be training as a key forward
He is a bit too tall to be an inside midfielder without getting injured and he also is slow as hell
I agree McReery is very inconsistent… but roles wise you are comparing apples (midfield) with pears (forwards)
Which role is more valuable? A pressure forward or a pressure mid ? Both average around 7-8 touches a game

You’re not replying to the sharpest tool in the shed there…
Are you serious? We butcher the ball like no team ever. Our team this week is one of the most skilful, balanced and exciting that we have named in years. For starters, virtually every player is a good kick of the footy!
It looks…….Hawthorn-like!
Graeme Wright’s influence clearly coming through.

Agree. Should have seconds covered. If not the more time on the ball gut running the better.Nobody considers Reef a forward because his best footy at NAB level was as a utility who rotated into the midfield
Was taken with the assessment he would become a big bodied full time mid
Which begs the question… why aren’t they playing him there in the VFL?
And I don’t buy a lack of a tank as the issue. Kids done enough training to play a good portion of a VFL game there

Pendlebury, Moore and Howe are elite. The rest are hot and miss, Sidebottom is lauded for his kicking, will have at least one out of bounds on the full each game and won’t kick it more than 35m.
Adams, Crisp and Degoey are prone to missing targets and they win the most ball.
I watched Stranger Things.I know. I had a great night. Hope yours was as good as mine.
