Because I enjoy the discussion, the highs and the lows etc , even discussing footy with you is enjoyable

But it’s nothing compared to being involved yourself where you can have some influence … best times of life
None of us can have influence on the Crows beyond cancelling our membership and not going to games.

So after 25 years without a flag, finishing bottom, seeing the numerous **** ups and seeing on going poor selection and coaching errors, it’s reasonable to vent given we are on here discussing footy. Not all of us can be cool theatre goers.

It’s probably for the best to cancel if can’t handle the results which are bound to be underwhelming for the medium term

Why would you waste your money on a bunch of people you can’t stand that are inadequate in your mind ?

Take your family on a holiday

Tell me when you’ve been wrong and about what ?
Jake Soligo isn't suited to be a wingman... ;)

Ps. I'm of the opinion he is & will become an inside/outside hybrid.

George Kramer - thought he was only suited as an inside midfielder... though think he is coming around..

People remember all the times they got something right

Never remember when they got something wrong , just gets wiped from memory

I wish I could wipe my Fogarty beliefs from 2 months ago haha
My worst call is Nathan Bock is completely useless as a footballer.

Because they are my club and true supporters support their club through the good times and the bad. I’ve been a member since day 1. Doesn’t mean you accept mediocrity though.

I can handle the results, I can’t handle shit decisions which is what we are discussing. Eventually those making shit decisions will be sacked and the hope is those who replace them are better at their jobs.

I can still take the family on a holiday and keep my membership so what’s your point?

But your attitude reeks of Roos arrogance. Remember the club is ****ed without its members, you’re basically advocating membership cancellations if you can’t just go with the flow. I’m sure the club wouldn’t have the same opinion.

I’ve got to say though, your posting tonight has really surprised me.

The club seems happy simply appealing to this demographic. As long as they don't mind crowds dropping to the 20-25k mark on a longer term basis.

Are there any other clubs around the world like this that would rather just exist for a nice day out/promote the sponsors than to actually be successful? EPL? NFL?

That is such bullshit.

We are all passionate supporters, otherwise we wouldn’t spend so much time on here posting.

But further to your point, why do you spend time on here talking about players you’ve never met and a team you’ll never have anything to do with? You might be too cool for school and pretend you don’t care what happens, but that’s bullshit, you do, that’s why you’re on here.
‘Passionate supporters’ that don’t watch away games

Did you credit anyone for 85 tackles last week or anything else

I think supporting is a bit of supporting to go with a bit of negative critique

That’s healthy

You’re reminding me of me in the Fogarty thread 2 months ago

I did say he couldn’t play wing and I’ve actually admitted that was an error so what’s your point? Jeff asked for when we’ve acknowledged making a mistake, I did.

But I still profess I think he would be a very good inside mid and that will be his better position.

If people want to play long suffering supporter card then being an AFL footy supporter is probably not the thing for them

You have 0 control over this football club no matter how much you invest , better off having a hobby or get involved at grass level sports if you want to have some influence and control over the results because you won’t get it supporting an afl club - ours or any other
Seriously?

Tell me when you’ve been wrong and about what ?

I dunno probably lots of times. I offer my opinion, sometimes I’m wrong, sometimes I’m right.

I’ve never really considered that I come off as someone who holds myself above most other posters.
And Tbh I think that applies to you more than me.

Thanks for comparing me with Roo rather than an internet hack ( even though Roo isn’t the biggest asset off field )

Fair enough , well explained

Can’t change your opinion but some things are ok , the whole house isn’t burning down re the club just some of it at times

I think we need to remember also that the club hit its lowest ebb in 2018 and it’s just that we seeing some after effects now

Re nicks - he will have to improve to keep his job no doubt but he’s also not horrific , 85 tackles last week shows the intent of the club is there among all these young guys , the recruiters need to get in more talent and class asap , it’s hard to back them in when they’ve had plenty of misses

Time will tell

You said originally he isn't a wingman. It's there for all to see as we were arguing this only a month or so ago... just before his purple patch.

Yes, you half conceded, but not fully. ;)

If you’re going to quote me, quote me accurately. I said I didn’t watch away games “in full” for awhile. Besides the Gold Coast game which I watched in full. There have been others I’ve watched in full earlier in the year, one I went to. But you need to make your mind up, on one hand you tell me not to bother and then have a crack because I haven’t watched some away games in full.

You remind me of a condescending FIGJAM that posts on here.

Yep …. I’ve had this discussion with mates before ( yeah I do have some friends haha)

It’s a dead end road investing too much into a bunch of guys you’ll never have an influence on , never meet , in some cases never like or have respect for

Enjoy the whole journey and if it’s too frustrating and makes you too angry then get involved yourself somewhere ….. unless you like being angry ( not specifically you but broadly )
