Assuming Butts is OK then it'll be Butts for Sholl and Schoenberg as the sub again.

If McAdam isn't being selected then I fear he's not re-signing so he'll play out the year in the SANFL and we'll get nothing for him, which is completely on form for us.
If mcadam isnt being selected for that reason..

then can we please select him and tell him to really hit a GWS player this time.. not just cause a bit of sweat to fly making it look like he hit him bad…

who cares if he cops another lengthy ban!

We bring in Pedlar, Rachele and Rankine (MASSIVE draft captial used on them) yet we still find a way to play Murphy and McHenry.

The sight of them running around spudding it up every week makes me sick
And what’s worse in the preseason they were on the outer, only took one loss for Murphy to come back and he’s stayed. The issue is his career is one good game every 6 which keeps his spot in the team, nothings changed there.

McHenry looks busy but despite his good sub games he’s been poor in every full game he’s had. He laid one tackle today to go with his 9 turnovers. This is how I look every time he gets near the ball

And there it is 9 turnovers is not AFL - go the Facebook crows ”oh he tries so hard” crew - enough is enough he has had far too many chances - he killed our momentum at least twice today with substandard skills - the experiment is done

Agree re Scholl, Murphy and Sloane. McHenry back to sub.

Rachelle on thin ice, he was weak as p*ss today.

Berry or Hately have grunt we need in centre. One should come in for Murphy

Nank in for Scholl

Butts for Sloane

Schoenberg for McHenry

McAdam or Newchurch for Rachelle

Interested that Soligo avoids the heat. He does a great job of being invisible when we play bad / away.

I have talked up Murphy's importance to our forward line in the past but his form has fallen off a cliff, probably linked to mchenry playing. I haven't seen much from McAdam that demands a spot but due to the above shit form they may as well put him in or give Newchurch a game and see what he has.

Jones is far better on a wing than as a lockdown defender so we need to reshuffle that with Butts back, maybe add Nank as well and move Smith / Hinge to a wing to take over Shol who shouldn't play again although in his defence he was at least near the ball today which is better than most can say

Shoenberg looked decent so give him a shot at it again

Ins - Shoenberg, Mcadam, Nank, Butts
Out - Murphy, Mchenry, Shol, Soligo (sub)

Mcadam & Keays / Sloane forward for Murphy & Mchenry.

Nank back for Jones to wing & Butts for Smith / Hinge to a wing.

So in essence, with some of your suggestions you’re now backing calls other “negative” posters have been asking for.

Murphy’s form hasn’t fallen off a cliff, this is his career, one good game which fools some posters and the coaches followed by a lump of crap.

As for keeping Sloane in your team, why? Liking what you are seeing from him?

What, you didn’t enjoy the Jones / Stringer match up? Our coaches are numpties.

The problem I see with McHenry is it's never going to be a "he needs more experience" type deal or just needs some consistency to grow into a role like Jones because he just does not have a footballers brain. He's got questionable footy IQ and really struggles with his quick decision making and it costs him quite often at AFL level.

Show me on the dolly where it hurts when people call you and your football friends negative

What I would do…

Out:
Sloane, Murphy, Sholl, McHenry

In:
McAdam, Butts, Berry, (Schoenberg into starting 22)

Sub:
Cook

What will happen…

Out:
McHenry (out of 22), Schoenberg (omitted)

In:
Butts

Sub:
McHenry

Sloane to eclipse the all-time record for having the most disposals smothered in a single season with 5 games remaining.

Murphy to hold his neck when nobody has touched his entire upper body for the 30th time this year.

Rachele to stand there and sulk while his direct opponent waltzes away with a clearance 14 times in the same game.

Sholl to jog in slow motion and get 15 boring disposals, while missing 12 tackles, being caught holding the ball 7 times and his man having 28 and 2 goals. Will weigh in at 58kg after the game and swallow on command though so better pick him.

Sloane to play his 250th then dropped.

Out: Murphy, McHenry, Sholl
In: Butts, Schoenberg, McAdam

Nankervis in for Sloane week after.
Want to look at Cook in place of Smith too.
They'll play Sloane in the middle full time to make sure he racks up numbers for his 250th, then they'll play him up forward so he can kick a goal. His teammates will do all they can to pass it to him and he'll have a decent game. Then there's no chance they'll drop him afterwards.

In
Butts McAdam Schoenberg

Out
Sholl Murphy McHenry

Sloane to get to 250 and then the club retires him end of the year.

In. Butts, nankervis, newchurch, cook, parnell, berry.

Out. Murphy, mchenry, sloane, sholl, max m (1 week rest), keays

Forget finals after that effort and lets give a few of these lads a few weeks to see what they have got
Wtf - Keays

He’s one of the only consistently decent players we have
