Milera has been stinking it up in the sanfl.. his field kicking is totally off.. way too many turnovers..
Would rather gove Parnell or Davis a run at it..
Why don't you just name the reserves side? Suggest we do 22 changes?
We lost by a kick, they're not going to make six changes.
Plus, you brought in four talls and only dropped one, FFS.
Schoenberg was good against Port and then we reduced his midfield minutes, we are messing with his head and confidence.Brown, Crouch, Hinge, Schoenberg out.
Hamill, Berry, Worrell, Cook in.
Jones goes back to the Brown role he played last year.
Sloane to half forward/wing.
Murphy into the middle.
ROB on his last chance. A poor first half against Richmond and I'd sub him out at half time.
Can’t argue with any of this. I wouldn’t underestimate Nicks commitment to Frampton (having spent time together at Port). What other player has been afforded the opportunity to reinvent themselves like Frampton under Nicks? I think this one has a year or two to run before finally getting a line put through it.What I'd like to see, and what I expect to see, are two very different things.
I'd like to see ROB dropped, and replaced by Strachan. ROB's start to the season has been way below ordinary, and Strachan was exceptional in the 2 games he played late last year. However, Nicks' loyalty to the senior players means there's almost no chance of this happening.
I'd like to see at least one of Sloane & Crouch dropped, and replaced by Berry (and Hately if both were to go). Sloane & Crouch have both been woeful since returning, regardless of what the newspapers say (their authors not having bothered to watch the game). Sloane is completely cooked, and Crouch just doesn't hurt the opposition enough to make up for his occasional clangers. Once again, not going to happen.
I'd like to see Frampton dropped, forever. That experiment has to finish, and Frampton's career along with it. Whether he's replaced by Murray, McAsey, Borlase or Worrell is of little importance to me. I just want to see Frampton banished for good. I think there's a reasonable chance of this one happening.
What I expect to see is one change, and one change only (don't forget that we lost by under a goal, away from home):
OUT: Hinge (inj)
IN: Cook, with Berry (sub)
I really don't understand why anyone would be calling for Rowe to be dropped. He's actually been pretty good so far this year.
What the hell is all this bring in Milera as he is struggling in the SANFL after missing 2 years of football and for all the skills never reached any real consistent full games in past.Club probably:
Oh the effort was great we were just unlucky. How good is OUR CAPTAIN RORY SLOANE.
Out: Hinge
In: Milera
Yep that last sentence is so frustrating, we’ve seen enough of a lot of our players at AFL level where you can say nope he ain’t got it and then we are still giving these no hopers games over more talented and well performing players in the 2s. If this is a rebuild then do it right, for starters dropping our injured and worse performed Captain in Adelaide crows history Rory Sloane and bringing in Berry. Can’t argue with any of this. I wouldn’t underestimate Nicks commitment to Frampton (having spent time together at Port). What other player has been afforded the opportunity to reinvent themselves like Frampton under Nicks? I think this one has a year or two to run before finally getting a line put through it.
And that’ll be 20-30 games that we should be putting into Worrell.
Crouch has been dropped multiple times, he is not a lock.Lol at people having Sloane out. He's NEVER getting dropped. Same with Crouch.
Is that the same Crouch who couldn’t stay on two legs half the game?Crouch has been dropped multiple times, he is not a lock.
Weirdly he is listed in the best players for both AFL website and the Advertiser, not sure if they actually watched the match though.
That's him, the one who wouldn't kick the ballIs that the same Crouch who couldn’t stay on two legs half the game?
No to McAsey coming in, if anyone comes in for Frampton we should go back to Murray. McAsey isn't even playing the key back role in the Snaffle.I want to see Strachan for ROB just to see if it improves our center clearances, but it won't happen. Sloane won't be dropped either, as much as it needs to happen
Out: Mrouch, Jones, Frampton, Hinjury
In: Berry, Hately, McAsey, Cook
B: Brown, Butts, Doedee
HB: Smith, McAsey, Sloane
C: Dawson, Laird, Sholl
HF: McHenry, Walker, Rowe
F: Rachele, Himmelberg, Gollant
R: ROB, Keays, Schoenberg
I/C: Berry, Hately, Cook, Murphy
Rotate Keays, Laird, Schoenberg, Berry, Hately, and spurts of Rachele and Murphy through the middle.
Hang on, just to be clear. The same Crouch who ignored Laird streaming inside F50 for a clear goal so he could shank a kick to the forward pocket and out of bounds? That Crouch? That's him, the one who wouldn't kick the ball
McAsey played the best game that I've seen him play. My only criticism was that he went to ground just about every time that he took a mark, which held up play.Yep, although McAsey was ok this weekend. Not our best KPD, but didn’t drop his chin which is a massive improvement for him.
What the hell is all this bring in Milera as he is struggling in the SANFL after missing 2 years of football and for all the skills never reached any real consistent full games in past.
Where Hamill doing well and found confidence in 2s and showed can compete at AFL level over last 2 years , whilst kicking not always best he can certainly give us that run we need .
Then other posters have a million changes which not realistic but don't have Cook in 22 who one of our most talented kids who came on and was huge in that frantic last qtr.
And still have McHenry in team who is a liability in forward entries and not one idea how to score a goal that's apart from all those stupid frees etc.
Yes Sloane ,Smith and ROB should be dropped but not going to happen.
First half yes, putrid.Jones should also be on the chopping block. He looked lost out there today. Surely Hamill/Mcpherson are better longer term defensive options.

Good is a bit much, he had a great 2nd half but was ordinary in the first.Schoenberg was good against Port and then we reduced his midfield minutes, we are messing with his head and confidence.
ROB should go.
But if we are serious about rewarding performance, Hamill and Berry have to come in.
I'm talking about the Crouch that nobody wanted for free last yearHang on, just to be clear. The same Crouch who ignored Laird streaming inside F50 for a clear goal so he could shank a kick to the forward pocket and out of bounds? That Crouch?
what about Guelfi???
My thinking is Worrell is next in line - play him on the more mobile Riewoldt. No to McAsey coming in, if anyone comes in for Frampton we should go back to Murray. McAsey isn't even playing the key back role in the Snaffle.
If I said great you’d have a point. I said good, I think an ordinary half and a great half would get you good wouldn’t it?Good is a bit much, he had a great 2nd half but was ordinary in the first.
He needs a spell in the 2s but there's 2 senior guys I'd flick first, but we won't.
