Yeah Peel Reserves and Colts are at Freo oval. League game is in Pingelly. The facilities at Pingelly look amazing but 2 hours drive each way is a hike.

I don't really rate Adelaide in the ruck and reckon Darcy and Lobb can work them over without too much hassle. Saw enough against the Hawks to think that if Treacy gets a run of games he's going to blossom. I know he missed that first one, but hey, he's an 18yr old kid who's nerves put him off, they'll go once he sinks one. Also the likelihood is that he's going to miss a few through tiredness and possibly suspension, so I'd pick him when fit.

Didn't sound that way to me at all, Seems like Meek will miss, says that he has been good but we can't drop a small for Lobb and Meek seems the obvious one hence the talk about him

O'Brien is a very good (and perhaps underrated) ruckman. Has been a force over the last two weeks. I would argue he is #5 ruckman in the league after Grundy (the good Grundy, has had some quiet games this year), Gawn, Marshall and Naitanui.

Jlo is so hard to read. the media team could run a story about how fyfe was back into the team. then longmuir could hold a press conference and make me doubt fyfe was a walk up start.

O'Brien is a very good (and perhaps underrated) ruckman. Has been a force over the last two weeks. I would argue he is #5 ruckman in the league after Grundy (the good Grundy, has had some quiet games this year), Gawn, Marshall and Naitanui.

Fair enough, sounds like I need to pay more attention to him. I could have my purple specs on but I still think Darcy has him covered in the ruck, Lobb definitely not, but he'll beat him around the ground.

i think he can average decent amount of disposals, score involvements, taps and goals. other ruckman do not have the forward craft that he does.
imagine these averages;
disposals; 15
score invovlements; 5
hitouts; 20 to 25
goals; 1.5

He’ll never get that recognition because he’s not the flashy mobile ruckman but that’s a good thing IMO because he’ll be cheaper to keep. While he likely won’t be the best, I think he’ll be the most valuable considering his impact and contract

I agree, It just sounded to me like he wasn’t going to get dropped. We do know JL doesn’t mind playing a few games though.

I agree with this sentiment. I believe changes are unlikely - I just think having depth becoming available outside the current team is not a situation we are very familiar with here at Freo.

This is perfect, because you don't want to over-invest in your ruckman.

Treacy was with the forwards when the WAFL boys went off the ground and at the end. He will play.

Yeah, you'll seriously never have to pay him more than 500 - 600k. I'd rather what he puts out and have 400k to put somewhere else and have Grundy getting some empty stats

With Darcy on the interchange and Meek in the middle. My thoughts are we lock Darcy in the forward line, Meek rucks in the mid and helps in the backline. Lobster roams around and gets us out of trouble.

I think so. It's hard to justify 2 rucks + Lobb.
