Hayes hasn’t exactly been dominating though has he?

We got absolutely destroyed against Essendon in the centre square. I think hayes started reasonably well in his first few games but has tired, it’s been tough on him shouldering the load and he has done relatively well and it probably is bit harsh if it is in fact an omission but it also shouldn’t come as a complete surprise.

We must be the only side that is satisfied in dropping a ruckman against a hardened ruckman.

who drops their ruckman?

geniuses these blokes..

our midfield is average at best and now we expect to win clearanc3s with a forward as ruck. First bounce Nank will physically hurt finlayson.

It's not losing Hayes in isolation thats the problem, it's abandoning all structure and leaving Georgiades in the twos whilst bringing a player into a position that we don't need.

Nankervis is going to look like Dean Cox in his prime.

Would have played Teakle if we thought he could run out the game his WAFL form would have him in our lineup already and the only instructions he needs is keep it away from Dusty.

There is no justification for dropping a young ruckman 7 games into his career because he got taught a bit of a lesson against two more experienced ruckmen with bigger bodies the game before. guess what, he probably should've never been asked to ruck alone in the first place anyways....................... Genius.

You know how local footy clubs get donations for every goal kicked in some games of AFL. I'd happily donate some money for every goal Richmond kick to a GoFundMe account to pay out the remainder of Ken's contract.

That is reason to bring in another ruckman to share responsibility rather than remove him.
If the tigers are going in with 2 bigs it makes even more sense

It's absolutely sick that because David Koch is a useless, cowardly campaigner of a man, we're in a situation where a long proven bad coach is making decisions that will hurt us in the long term in a panicked attempt to save his job.
Don't worry about the long term, the decision will hurt us this week as well. This isn't just Hinkley knowingly acting in self interest even though he knows it's not a good result for the club. He probably thinks this is a great move for the club. He's just a bad coach.
