I can understand Marshall but not Trengove, he was running at +80% disposal efficiency, pretty handy as a defender.

I disagree, early season Marshall maybe, current Marshall isn’t doing enough.
He needs to get his form line back up in the SANFL as he is keeping out better players atm.

I’m talking more of a theoretical “all going well” best 22, not necessarily a “form” best 22... but he kicked 2 today in a fairly lacklustre team performance. Did his bit, set his formline in the right direction.

I haven't watched the game yet, but I saw in the stats Marshall kicked 2 goals and assumed he was at least serviceable today.
Come on here and apparently he should be dropped.

He was AWOL most of the game, the goals were goals that most others in his place would get.

No way should Trengove get dropped. Dbj for pittard. Jonas for Homsch or clurey.

Giving that as a reason why he shouldn't be dropped ? , tells you that he's probably consistently the worst performing Captain.

Boak needs to recapture form, simple.

He's already a liability , cant pick teams on sentiment come finals , but then KH's selections are what helped us lose to the WCE last year.

Jagged two but had one touch to half time and little to no impact outside of his goals. Very disappointing, to me looked a little weak around the ball and looked like he didn't want to be out there.

Want to see him hunting the ball and desperate to be involved, look at the impact Curnow has for Carlton, id like more of that, he has the Ability.

I reckon Trengove deserves another week. Marshall offers nothing atm, and is getting out bodied too easily. Keeping Thomas and S.gray in the forward line makes it much more dynamic.

I thought Hombsch was the poor one in defence, Howard was okay once moved from Curnow, but the kid beat everyone!

Who say dBJ needs to come back in for Trengove?

I don't want to get complacent, but in a long season where we had the early bye do we need to give some of our players (particularly the older ones) a rest?

This would be the week to do it for one I reckon. Boak is the first to come to mind and would allow Trengove more time in the mids this week.
