Does anybody in here, hand on heart think we can win this weekend?

Without doubt. If this week hadn't unfolded as it had then we'd be fretting over the risk of complacency. I expect us to respond like we did when Wells, Swallow and Thompson missed the Freo game. It may not be the prettiest football ever played but we'll grind it out (something that we've conspicuously failed to do in recent outings vs the Crows).

No only can we win, we really should do. Adelaide can only win this if they are more switched on than us. They aren't in great form, and their away record against good sides isn't that flash.

Petrie probably got a corky, didnt seem too worrired after the game looked more like the hip area.

The same can easily be said by opposition supporters when talking about us. Probably is.

Apparently a 50-point win is still sloppy and riddled with mediocrity. :shrugs: So that's why I make the comparison.

We have won two more games and are rightfully two places above them on the ladder. We have been inconsistent, but they have been more inconsistent than us.

And away from Melbourne they've had the upper hand. Not seeing where 'really should' is coming from according to past experience.

We will see who plays better in Tasmania I guess because that's a whole different matter.

Don't want to be a party pooper but Kerridge had his 'coming out' under the bright lights of the docklands 'what stadium deal?' superdome.

Dat article

"Robbie Nahas is expected to play next week making it ten weeks since he injured his shoulder against the Crows"
It was against Melbourne at the MCG wasn't it?

"The former Tiger has played eight games with the Roos so far this season and could help propel the team deep into September with his forward pressure and goal kicking ability"
Gee, no pressure on a bloke to perform after a 3 month layoff. It's GF or bust for Robbie.

Does anybody in here, hand on heart think we can win this weekend? I for one do think we can. Will have to play well but I think we can. Our backline is stil intact, and so is the forwards line. Midfield will need to be switched on.
We're a chance, but I'm expecting a loss based on no Boomer, no Wells (limited outside run) and injury clouds over Ziebell, Thomas, Grima, Drew, Hansen (if he plays).

Plus the spud Kerridge will come in so we're cactus.

No, he played the full game against Melbourne and was injured in the Crows night match.
