Just like half the players in the afl who make poor decisions under pressure... his intent, heart and attack at the contest was oitstanding tonight...

He does it when not pressured too.

He needs to work on it and with experience should iron it out. Hopefully.
But he is a part of why we are an inconsistant team his skills let him down often at critical times.

Yes is an endurance machine is only 19 has a reasonable build (lacks a bit of strength still) and should be a reasonable player if he can improve his decision making and disposal.

Special, based on what?

There is nothing that screams 'special', and thats just the reality of it. Unfortunately.
Just when I watch him, there seems something there.
But like all players we want to succeed, it might be seeing more than is.
He just is tough at it. We'll see, but I reckon he is part of the jig saw to get us higher up the ladder longer term.
He goes to A grade we may improve, he doesn't we may languish.

If he improves significantly, we'll improve as a whole.

You're not wrong when you say he's important, a top 5 draft choice is designed to assist your club in reaching the next level.

We need him to do that.

He has to play a part of the on ball rotations. He is a clearance mid.

I thought Brown would come in for Blair last minute. The Lions is a good time to give him a game. Blair was good second half.

Don't think Brown can come in for Fas, but Crocker could

Shaz in for Aish

Don't get Greenwood playing forward. Don't think he should be dropped but is the right place for him?

Fasolo stays in, delivery to him was piss poor as it was to our other forwards most of the night. Our half backs looked more like scoring than our forward line.

Our: Aish, Phillips
I'm: Sharenberg, Cox

Playing 1 tall forward and 1 ruck again is asking to get punched in the head.
Imagine if Grundy or Moore went down.
Cox is our only option at the moment to come in so:
Out: Aish (inj), Blair
In: Shaz, Cox.

Would like to see Brown debut or Crocker promoted.
Degoey or Faz would be out on form for him.

Brisbane have weak small defenders - Fasolo gets one more chance to impress. Last warning for he and Schade, who is having a down patch. If Greenwood isn't going to tag Beams then move him out because a youngster can contribute his midfield output

OUT: Aish (inj), Greenwood (omitted)
IN: Scharenberg, Kirby

It's a good low key game for someone like Brown to debut however the club might like a bit more media attention ($$$) and hold it off for a free-to-air night game. Kirby is playing too well in the VFL and we can forfeit a midfielder I think, that change needs to be made.

Out: Fas had a poor game
In: Kayle Kirby, it's time

Out: Aish if he has a cracked jaw or concussion, I did like that he went for that contest, all guts to go for that one
In: Shaz, it's also time

This for mine, too.

Phillips made some errors but did some really good things too, so stays till Varcoe can get back maybe. He has a huge running tank for a kid his age and i can't think of anyone else who could play that role as well.
Stays unless too sore.

Out Blair Aish
In Shaz and one of Kirby Brown Daics

I know if we are going to be objective Faz should probably be dropped but I am a fan of Fazalicious so will give him one more week. Hopefully he can find some touch against the Lions, get some of his mojo back

I thought Philips was terrible and the only time he doesn't look terrible is when the team is on the roll.

Hopefully he gets dropped this week but sadly we have got a lot better in the VFL to replace the players that should be dropped.

You don't just stay home if the ball isn't coming down. Piss poor. He will be gone.

Phipplips going nowhere. Had a great game 200 times he'll be in mosts out for the week .lol

Drop Aish yeah the attack on ball was awesome. But **** hes shit. What foot does he kick the ball. Has he had 1 kick as stat this year. **** him off.

Time for Crocker to come in and shade to **** off.Even though Blair killed it. Blair out Mayne in.

I thought Blairs forward line pressure was huge last night. Because of the way we played after half time we were often kicking the ball into space in our forward line despite the Hawks having the extra one or two numbers back at times. Blair was huge in creating a contest and making sure the ball was held up so the Hawks didn't run it out easy.

Fasolo is one of only two players in our team who looks likely to kick goals, and we don't kick many goals. He stays.

I would've thought that Aish goes out due to injury and hopefully Blair too. He just has no composure, ever. Average skills, short, no height, not creative. Unfortunately, as hard as he tries he offers nothing positive to our performances.

I was all over Crisp bring dropped as well until a few weeks ago but he seems to be improving. Greenwood needs to tag Beams next week.

In: Scharenberg, (best performed medium in VFL)

I must've been watching a different game to the one last night.

I thought Blair and Phillips both played their parts. And didn't Schade play on Vickery who usually kicks 4 when he plays us?

Faz was ordinary, but is second in our goal kicking this year, you wouldn't drop him.

Out: Aish
