Crocker isn't AFL standard, he won't be getting a look-in again. Blair, however, looks about done. I don't follow the VFL, but maybe Scharenburg gets a chance with Aish out? Otherwise, no changes unless they're forced. I thought the team balance was perfect.

That's sensible. I'd like to see Blair's position in the side taken by someone with more upside. I'm a broken record, I know. Young Brown, Daicos, or Kirby.

Would be happy to see Blair replaced by almost anyone.

I've turned the corner on Goldsack in recent weeks. It's disappointing that we don't have someone to pushing him out, such is the dearth of talent and reliability. But he's been better than I could have imagined he'd be.

Blair is a useless liability who offers the square root of F all. Hate seeing him in the side, particularly in positions where we need a competent player.

Phillips makes mistakes, but he works hard and is learning from each game. He can stay.

Fasolo on the other hand plays like an entitled princess. I'd like to see him bugger off for a week and earn it.

He played AFL last year and there's a reason he hasn't returned to the side despite our huge forward line issues up until now.

I also think Fasolo should stay. Has more talent than most forward options we have available, just needs to put in more defensive effort. That'll see him reach more contests and have more of an impact. Elliot, Fas, Moore/Grundy, Sidebottom and Blair all have talent and effort (in different measures) and form a great forward setup.

Early in the game I was thinking Smith was definitely going to be out, especially with Shaz banging the door down.

Then Phillips did a few terrible things but worked really, really hard and ended up redeeming himself. Will probably end up earning a Rising Star nomination (without checking anyone else's stats) sooner or later, so he'd be stiff to go out.

Blair... bloody hell. You don't feel comfort when he gets it, or when he's near it. I just dunno, did he do little enough to get dropped? Without stats checking, I dunno.

Perhaps Shaz out, Aish in. Not sure what that will do structurally.

My issue with Blair is not what he does with but what he does without it. He continually plonks himself into the hole and blocks up any space for our forwards to lead in to.
Does any one else see this or am I being overly harsh?

Not what I'd do by any stretch, but I'll put every cent to my name on that as the outcome at selection this week.

The only counter is if we want a bit more height in attack so bring Cox in for Phillips/ Blair/ Greenwood.
