I like the Sunday arvo games. Gives us an opportunity to just quietly get the job done and move on. Except for the Port game, whenever we have been put on the big stage this year we have embarrassed ourselves.
And it'll suit me this weekend, big ride saturday and back home sunday am, should be ready for the couch with a couple hundred k's in the legs

That’s dog sh*t if true. Went from wanting a Friday night home game to chucked in on Sunday arvo? Was thinking it would be a Saturday night for TV purposes.

No doubt they will give that slot to Essendon if true then
But you know, Essendon, exciting team with talented youngsters producing scintillating football, toppling heavyweight teams week in Week out. we just can’t compete with that right?! **** me!! They are an ordinary team! The media just needs a Cinderella story.

We'll be off prime time most likely until the Melbourne game in round 20, although we could get the Sat Night game v. Gold Coast. Essendon game will be a Friday or Saturday night marquee and depending on its importance the Port game too.

Round 23 shaping to be a cracker. Dogs v Port. Cats v Melb.

Out: Naughton, Lipinski, Hannan

In: Croz, Sweet/Martin, Mcneil (med sub)

Basically bring in the ruck so English can go forward and make up for the loss of Naughtons marking power.

Croz comes back because he's actually a good defender and Scott is not. Means Scott can go forward and put on heat with Garcia.

Feel bad dropping Hannan but he isn't playing with much confidence.

Hickey is in really good form for Sydney this year, AA form, and would give Sweet the runaround. English might have to run with him and try to nullify him. I don’t know if a half fit Martin or developing Sweet are the answer. Respect the opposition Hickey is on fire (yes I’m a bit of a fan of his)

This is the type of game where no one in the thread will predict the final team.

Sydney remind me a lot of the 2015 bulldogs, dangerous but if you shut down their A game they don't have the quality to adapt.

Sydney are going to smash us. We are a very average team without Naughton. Apart from Weightman and Bruce our forward line is sh*t. Rampe will break the intercept marks world record.
Damn scrag I hope you are being sarcastic as we didn't go to the top of the ladder just because of Astro.
Multiple AA's in the midfield and down back. Best % in AFL.
Bont leading the Brownlow count
These are the moments doggies supporters dream of, we are tracking better than 2016.

Our forward line without Naughton is going to be awful...

Garcia Lewis Young Hannan

Wallis Bruce Weightman

That would have to be the worst forward line we will see in the AFL this week. Bruce and Weightman are good but the others...yikes.

I think

In: Croz Richards
Out: Naughton Scott Lipinski

Young to play English's role, croz to play 3rd tall in d and richards to swap with scott on the half back flank.

Schache's worth a shot in defence, IMO. The coach has probably trialled him in training sessions; if he managed to make a fist of it, it'd be a massive boost for our premiership tilt. Yes, his form in the past has been poor, but I think of how - recently -Darcy Moore switched from forward to back successfully.

Long shot, but ...
Worth a shot

At least Lewis young is tall enough to be a flagpole and wave the white flag

Out: Hannan / Naughton

In: Richards / Marra

Wallis to play Hannan’s role and apply forward pressure. His I50 tackle stats for last year were not shabby.

I hope you eat your words if you're wrong again because you didn't after the wet toast game.

Getting a bit sick of seeing the same negative and trolling crap from you every week.

The team has lost 3 games for the entire year, and only 1 lately after the final siren.

Cool, Shitney beat up on wet toast in Geelong where they requested they play, knowing how rubbish wet toast are down there. Their wheels are falling off, it's not that shitney are that much better.

It's going to be a tough battle but this "we will get smashed" shit is getting tiresome

Stef Martin listed as 2-3 weeks away. Dammit. Richards will come back in. Wouldn’t be shocked if that’s the only change with Naughton out. With Wallis playing that FF role again.

Not sure going in as English as #1, Young forward and swapping in the ruck is going to suit us. Means Bruce gets stuck as the lone forward whilst Young is rucking and Tim is on the bench.
Tmmy will have to go forward and sacrifice breaks on the pine unfortunately

Not much else we can do unless Schache is selected
