Firstly, how do you know the specific $$$$ of the contracts?
Secondly, it's now a different environment from when Rohde made that statement. The players have more power and want even more. If you look across all clubs, these longer contracts are becoming the norm. Our neighbours just re-signed Jenkins and Crouch on long deals, even after seeing what happened over here with Hartlett and Lobbe.. Free agency has changed the landscape. but, as with Hartlett, clubs will also need to find way to get some negotiating power back.

Just guessing contract details but not real hard to work out, so we re lucky we are in such great shape?

This maybe because Rhode had the football credentials and maybe the role Davies fills has been redefined so that he does not speak to the media as much as Rhode did. You are right as we hear very little from either Hart or Davies , then again Richardson and Walsh both worked in the background so maybe that is not unusual in Hart's case.

Disagree about Richardson. He did the weekly videos. I used to love those. We miss him more than Walsh.

If my memory serves me correctly I thought that Richo fronted the media quite a bit.
