Honestly one of the stupidest things I’ve ever read on here. Wingard was the best young player in the comp was a 2 time all aus and kicked 40+ 3 times before he was 23.
He had 1 very good year in 2015 playing forward and few solid year playing forward but the trend is pointing down for Wingard and still stick by you payed too much and is B grade player

Needs to continue to work on his actual footy craft. Can tell from the way he plays he had the luxury of being the best kid athletically in junior footy, hasn't had to develop ways to beat opponents. Just run through them and slam the footy as far as you can- sometimes looks like a miracle goal but can shank them etc.

In the latter half of the year he started to develop these tricks I think.

Melbourne won't let him go, I feel he is on the cusp of developing consistency and multiple tricks as a rotating mid/forward. Particularly shocking end of the year for the Demons but he would be one of the few shining lights in that time, with some good midfield minutes.

Agreed, he did seem to play to his strengths a little more in the second half of the season and back himself. He is really strong through the core but has never taken the game on enough until now, he can stand up in a tackle and is happy to take the tackler on now.

As a Melbourne supporter he certainly gave up some hope in a bleak year, would be gutted to lose him now.

No way Melbourne trade him.
Needs more time has the ability to be a match winner.
Crazy talk that Melbourne will trade him.
They have spent a lot of time developing him.
The Dees will improve next year. He looks really happy at Melbourne.

Petracca is in the top 5 overrated players in the comp. Needs to move to get the best out of himself

How is he overrated? everyone in this sub has clearly said he has been underwhelming in his career to date including Melbourne supporters.

Do you understand the meaning of overrated?

I can't see a trade for Petracca occuring. The difference between what Melbourne would expect and what clubs would offer may be too big. On top of that, although he is a inside midfielder size (Melbourne seem to have half a list of them), he is also a capable forward with x-factor albeit inconsistent; Melbourne needs him. A trade for Brayshaw would be much more likely.

1 is a fat lazy disappointment the other is one of the unluckiest footballers I can think of. And a disappointment
Unlucky in that he is just a shit footballer. A KPF who can't mark or run. Concussions have done him a favor, otherwise the media would be crucifying him
