Again the whole situation is sad for everyone involved. This isn't an either or sitatuion clearly the process is going to be tough on all those involved and have a negative affect on the mental health of both sides which is why the investigation needs to be resolved.

And again the investgation is ongoing Clarkson may or may not be innocnent I'm not going to take sides until the investigation is done and actual facts are releasesd.

I am taking the side of those Indigenous players who were mistreated.

No reason they make false accusations.

Look at the main 2 players involved and tell me that they are not trustworthy in their statements.

Regardless of guilt/negligence/innocence/ignorance etc. - basically whatever happened and whatever the outcome of this investigation is - it would be incredibly draining for him & his family while it's ongoing

The investigation can continue to take it’s course but at least the club can start focusing on footy again.

Of course the contents haven’t been released but to the public that’s irrelevant, the fact is they’ve requested them clearly to assist their defence. There is no reason to withhold that information if the want true mediation.

I don't know what they've requested or why. Lawyers can try tricks like this.

Preliminary findings should always be presented to the accused party for an opportunity to comment. It's a basic tennant of procedural fairness, and it does a disservice to both parties if proper investigation procedures are not followed.

This matter is too important for the investigation to be mishandled. We're talking about serious duty of care allegations.

That's not really how these investigations work.

37,000 documents sounds like large number but it's likely the result of a request into Hawthorn to provide all emails and documents produced between X date and Y date. It may be run through a keyword filter pre or post this activity. The extreme majority of these files will be completely irrelevant. In any case, I wouldn't expect Clarkson to have access to any of this content.
