Oh I'm sorry, are observations of the lack of coaching continuity not allowed? And in a thread about one of those coaches. Your must want that axe to be razor sharp ey
It’s irrelevant to what s going on

Cut the crap.

North has been knocked down repeatedly since its inception and has never failed to get back up, that is what success is. We've survived the entire AFL organisation trying to move us from Arden St and won, we're still standing there.

Essendon folded at the behest of a croquet club and moved to a windy wasteland.

Lets shift focus to the players then. What are they doing to bring this to a close?
Talking to the panel?
Providing evidence of their claims?
Allowing their records kept by Hawthorn to be shared?
For the ABC to publish that story, they were not just relying on one or two people's word, that's not how it works.

They had text messages, emails etc.

Why would they want their private health details shared with their abusers? You think that's part of justice? Just the abusers having open-slather on the victims' lives until they find a weakpoint to exploit?

Their stories have been told, to both the ABC and Hawthorn's investigation. What's in it for them to say it again to the AFL, when the other party have said nothing (but have heard the allegations against them and still refused to say anything)?

Clarkson and Fagan at any time can release a statement with specific information refuting the allegations. But they haven't, this is completely on them at the moment and they've circled the wagons (on lawyers' advice probably, and that's probably after Clarkson and Fagan gave the lawyers their side of the story).

Having the truthfulness of their claims tested. If they dont then in a civilised world the claims mean nothing. Its that simple.

My club faced death and merger on multiple occasions and we fought it out and not only survived - but thrived.

Sydney supporters are the worst, still sooking about the 2016 Grand Final they lost fair and square.

They get everything handed to them on a plate by the AFL and still whinge and moan.

I don't like Norf and loved belting them on Good Friday, but Sydney fans attacking them can get in the bin, North are a million times the club they'll ever be.
You ain’t a football club until you’ve stared ofal house in the face when they’re aiming a gun at your head, wishing you death.
Nothing but respect.

but geez it would be nice to have some close games again, the banter level will rise from hur hur hur why don’t you fold.

Ok pelican.

Fact 1 - Sydney had the COLA removed by the AFL. because they ‘stole’ buddy and Flog-patrick didn’t like it.

Fact 2 - Sydney was banned from the draft for a year for the same reason. This ended up being a worse penalty than the Bombers receibed for something far more serious.

Fact 3 - Sydneys players, supporters and Captain took public opposition to our relocation to the streets - ask Fitzroy how easy it is to stand up to the AFL.

Fact 4 - Your issues and. Norths were financial, a quick whip around solved the problem. Swans and Lions were political…they wanted interstate teams, they picked on the weakest - now Its Norths turn.

Fact 5 - The AFL ADMITTED three days after the GF, on their own web site, that umpiring decisions cost the Swans 3 goals in 2016 - NOT ONE MEDIA OUTLET carried the story.

While I agree no teams supporters should bury another - I was at Medallion when you campaigners started the booing of Adam Goodes..well b4 Hawthorn or Richmond….so pull your politically suspect balloon head in.

It's pretty convenient that the accused don't appear to be cooperating to ensure this is done so effectively and efficiently. The investigation appears to be making all effort to do so.

You need to compartmentalise that this was reported by the media which was not the plan or intent by those sharing their stories. They should not cop heat for the actions of the media.

Fagan and Clarkson have both expressed their desire to publicly address the allegations against them. However, they are bound by confidentiality agreements related to the investigation and cannot refute specific allegations without violating these agreements.

This confidentiality agreement has been notably disregarded by Egan, the accusers, the AFL investigation panel, Russel Jackson and other media during the investigation.

Not only that, Fagan and Clarkson have still not been provided with a complete list of allegations to respond to. Would you personally choose to respond to allegations in a public forum without knowing the full extent of the allegations against you?

How are they not cooperating?

You do realise they are simply doing what literally everyone with half a brain does when accused of something - demand to see all the evidence so they can then prepare their defence.

There wouldnt be a lawyer in the country who in good faith wouldnt have told them to do what they are doing.

What did they think was going to happen after they spoke with the media

It’s a fair discussion I would think
This is irrelevant to this thread. You won't find a north supporter who doesn't agree that the onfield results have been woeful, so there's no argument there. I've followed the team from the late 70s and it's the first time we've bottomed out. It's our turn to stick with the club thru bad times, just as other supporters have with their clubs.

If you really want to post something about fitzroy and north you should be posting the off field finances of both clubs, because that is why fitzroy merged. They couldn't even pay the players. North has no debt, despite woeful onfield results.

Are we expecting to hear anything from the AFL today regarding Clarkson?
Judging by this thread we can expect an announcement on the 2016 Grand Final, Cola, and Port Adelaide's most recent year's period.

The players allowed the media to publish their story as is their right.

The fact that the investigation has confidentiality doesn't stop them responding to the allegations either publicly, in response to the story, or through the inquiry.

Nor have they not heard the allegations. They've read the Egan Report, all the Hawthorn correspondence and the ABC story. They're holding out for private health files of players, which they're not entitled to (no court would require that).

Seems like the only way these people will tell their side of the story is if they're sued. And if the players can't be bothered to go through that trauma, when exactly will Fagan and Clarkson bother to tell their side, if ever?

Surely they could categorically deny a couple of the allegations without breaching confidentiality? Anything in the story that they refuted wouldn't be breaching confidentiality, to say something like "that part there, I never did any of that, wasn't even there".

And still dwarf you, pardon the pun.
