Bosenavulagi just got delisted by North. The forgotten man in the Treloar saga. Sad to see it.
2/4 delisted, Stephenson one of the dumbest in the league. Only Treloar was a loss.

I think we lose on Treloar for Ollie Henry. Henry could turn out to be a much better player but it won't be for us. But Treloar for Henry for Mitchell and Pick 25 ... that could be a premiership ...

Hardly a part of the saga, just a sideshow to it. He wasn’t getting another contract from us regardless of everything else going on at the club at the time.

He was more of a cheese knife than a steak knife.
In any case, sad for Atu.

Like the bit about contending for the next 1-5 years given the list profile.

How things have changed. After Bucks got sacked l thought get ready for a few years in the wilderness. Thankfully Craig McCrae and the team surprised us all.
I think we may have found a gem in Craig McCrae and he’s obviously put a team together around him that he wants and needs. I’m tipping he is special and will go on to be one of the coaching greats.

I can't wait until he's developed enough to be a full time mid. Hands, vision and execution in traffic remind me of Diesel, but with the ability to seriously run with and without the footy as well. Doubt he'll ever have the toughness or ability to not get shifted off the ball though.

I think he can improve on his strength and that’ll be an asset for him.

He’s a lot stronger already than he looks. His 1-on-1 in the Port game where he used he out-bodied Boak (who isn’t a tiny bloke), and got in front of him to knock on the ball and cleanly pick it up and cleanly dispose of it got me pretty excited for what he can do once his body fully develops.

Which is why I think playing him behind the ball was a stroke of genius by the coaching staff. Look at Callum Mills now. A highly touted junior in his draft year that did his apprenticeship in the backline until he was ready to become a full-time midfielder. Now he’s arguably one of the best two-way runners and an All-Australian to boot.

Where are the flood of posts declaring Jackson Callow as a must get saviour of the CFC?!

Best available every day of the week.
To be honest, Callow is too slow and doesn't really offer a lot more than size. Talented kid, will likely return to the SANFL or VFL and star but probably won't crack it at AFL level.

I reckon he's inexperienced and immature.

*pops in the see if the usual culprits have mentioned Anderson yet.

I can’t see us taking anyone else that has been in the system previously. We’ve got probably 3-4 spots to fill across primary and rookie list and given we’ve brought in 4 established players already I think we’ll head to the draft for these. The only exception may be a ruckman.

Not really inexperienced given he's been playing against men since 15. He was a decent junior who everyone expected to go inside the Top 25. Until COVID hit. People were shocked Chuggy got chosen over him, too. Jacko made headlines most weeks as a junior - Chuggy had fleeting mentions in the stories Jacko was the headline, if that. But Chugg also had athleticism that Jacko didn't so that played a part.

As for his maturity ... I have some inside info on that one and can say you're not far off. He's a loveable larrikin and owns it. In saying that, professionalism and maturity were not his strongest suits.

He would've worked well a decade or two ago when the AFL had slightly looser standards and forwards didn't need to be athletic masters.

If he came to Collingwood, he would be loved but he's not our saviour as a forward.

EDIT: I would like to add that I have a lot of respect for Callow and fan engagement/giving back is something he is good at. However, he has shortcomings, too. Most Hawthorn fans thought he was a good mark but had weaknesses as well. If Collingwood took a punt on him in the rookies, he would embrace the opportunity, too.

No shit. My post was a dig at all those posters that, and despite him being over looked twice, were questioning Hines credibility.
