I honestly have no idea what this logic about “overspending”, in a specific area of the ground is based on.

Are Clubs seriously suggesting they’d choose to overlook a potential match winner because he’d blow the cap in a specific zone?
Or are they going to recruit him, and then play him in another zone that can accommodate his salary, within that zones Cap?

could struggle to hold his place in the side. If there was any chance of movement from his end, he is Victorian and I'd love to have him. Really clean ball winner and distributor and he's improved his defensive application drastically. Come back in 6 months and see where out inside mids are at, and if it's something we can improve on then I think he's a great target, and at 25 years old this year is a sweet age.

And past environment perhaps. Tom Mitchell said on his poddy that this is the best footy club environment he’s been in. Reckons all the boys look forward to coming in each day because it’s a fun place to be. Seems we are turning into the mythical “destination club” that people go on about.

CFC has a long history of being tightarsed and inflexible with player payments. It has probably cost us premierships.
Ron Todd, Des Tuddenham & Peter Moore are examples of players who should never have left Collingwood.

Today I see things as way better although we have a draft system so we can't just get anyone we please.
