It's the same situation as Sam Murray. He'll be out for some time.

The difference is Reef will have opportunity next year. AJ will have less. I believe the club rates him ahead of AJ. Therefore, I expect him to play for some time.
I believe the rules have changed regarding game day testing and residual drugs in a players system since Murray was done. Look it up. Not sure why you’re so adamant that Smith will be out for an extended period when all reports have him serving a 3 month ban over the preseason.

You have no idea where the two are rated, you’re just guessing, as we all are. Evidence over the course of this year points to the contrary to your opinion though.

Andrews had Big Influence in last qtr and Frampton did Stuff All except drop a lot of Marks

What were you expecting? prime Wayne Carey to pop out of nowhere and kick 10? hahaha, Chook stuck to his task, kept andrews accountable except for a couple of frees in the last quarter, yeah a goal or two would've been nice but brought it to ground more often than not and let our smalls go to work.

I'm slightly worried about our depth if we get a few injuries early on. We have lost a lot of depth players.
Like? Ruscoe, Bianco?

I'd say the club is putting faith in Fin, Harrison, Reef, AJ, Ryan, Dean, Allan, Carmichael, Krueger etc to get a really strong (& hopefully uninterrupted) pre season under their belt.

They have told Kelly can train at the pies and possibly re draft him as an ssp

We’ve kept the right guys and gotten rid of the cloggers. No more 5+ year “development”/fringe players like Brown bros, Kelly, Broomhead, Oxley, etc.

This is the best out list management has been since 2009-11. Exactly as it should be at a Premiership club. If you can’t force your way into the AFL team in 2-3 seasons, you probably never will. Love it!

There’s still a chance we retain Kelly …

I didn't know Baghdad Bob was a Collingwood supporter.

If you listen to channel 7 and sen commentary they both wrapped him up regularly for his job on Andrews during the game. The only one that was negative was Kane Cornes but that’s par for the course.

Andrews had 1 mark to 3 quarter time, you'd take that.

When Frampton had the chance to take marks himself, he looked like a player who hadn't played in a month, and was plonked in the most frantic game of the year. With McStay out, we would have been in strife without him.

Let’s be honest, Andrews was invisible until 3QT. Almost as big a milk carton job as Hipwood and Rayner. He obviously stepped up at the end though.
