For a short while, then it reverted back to a choice. Every QC now a KC.Was QC replaced by SC? Rumpole referred to it as taking silk, or something similar.

Yes we'll still have the QB holiday but it will be the KB holiday, on the same weekend as it has always been2nd longest ruling monarch in history.
Sad day for some but if you are born you will surely die.
Not sure about KCIII - only time will tell.
Not sure about the QB game now - what will that AFL name it ?
Will there still be a QB holiday ?
Tell her about under paying servants. The quirk of fate of being born in that family. The un earned wealth. And it keeps going. The 10 year old is now quoting the Queen’s ‘achievements’. It’s horrible!
let it go, I'm not getting into an argument over the ****ing Queen or king. Just another chic to me, i want a RepublicSome loopy stuff going on here
If you are an Australian citizen, your queen just died and your new king is King Charles III, go read the Constitution if you don't believe me!
I want a Republic too and voted for that in 1999. Unfortunately the other 5 hick states voted against it, so here we are.let it go, I'm not getting into an argument over the ******* Queen or king. Just another chic to me, i want a Republic
Spare a thought for all the QCs whose lives were upended this morning.
a Kevin Bartlett holiday is where I draw the lineYes we'll still have the QB holiday but it will be the KB holiday, on the same weekend as it has always been
No. For a time, things were changed where all newly appointed silks became SCs rather than QCs, but there was a stink kicked up(how much better does QC, or even KC, sound than SC?) so it then became a choice between the two for the barristers when they apply for letters patent. All those who were QCs yesterday are KCs today.Aren’t they all SCs?

NO I don't recognize any monarchy. Some loopy stuff going on here

Dancing on graves, says more about the people dancing, than the person who has passed.
Federal QC…shall be known as KFC this day forward.No. For a time, things were changed where all newly appointed silks became SCs rather than QCs, but there was a stink kicked up(how much better does QC, or even KC, sound than SC?) so it then became a choice between the two for the barristers when they apply for letters patent. I hope you enjoyed this piece of monarchist nonsense.
Or my Scots ancestors - they still haven't forgotten or forgiven Longshanks. No, it doesn’t. It says more about our views on an outdated and bloated institution which should have nothing to do with this country.
Think it’s only fair that an alternative view be expressed. Nothing personal against the woman.
P.S. I’ve already had an argument with my sister about this, and she just hung up on me.
P.P.S. Would love to ask my Irish ancestors about the British monarchy. They’d be doing an Irish jig this morning.
Yes…I would also move to TasmaniaA Bartlett holiday is when I no longer want to be part of this fine country.
Yes…I would also move to Tasmania
