No. For a time, things were changed where all newly appointed silks became SCs rather than QCs, but there was a stink kicked up(how much better does QC, or even KC, sound than SC?) so it then became a choice between the two for the barristers when they apply for letters patent. All those who were QCs yesterday are KCs today.

I am not interested in the politics of a Rep or a Mon only the way she conducted herself over her 96 yr journey and I would say that has been exemplary and beyond reproach and so worthy of respect.I myself only find fault with her judgement on Andrew but he was apparently her favourite and affected her viewpoint and if that is her only lapse in 70 yrs service then no one should be dancing on grave or thinking that ill of her.

Go the Pies I only hope this week is better than last week on the result front and for me personally as I was rushed to hospital last saturday at 1.30pm and missed the match and have not felt the need to relive it but GO THE PIES this week and I will def be watching this week.
