Sunny, Clear, early chance of a shower or two. MAX: 24

TV: Foxtel - 1.30pm - 5.00pm.

Though I'd start the matchday discussion thread, as DTM (Tradedraft) and a few others are already out of range at Vic Park for the VFL today.

Should be an interesting start, with Melbourne treating it like their Grand Final (in round 2, how sad is that) and the Pies wanting to continue their good form leading into 4 difficult matches.

Rumours regarding Swan being out are just that so far, with no other media outlet running with even a thought of it, it all seems like an ex Melbourne player running his mouth off.

Nice weather, big crowd, at the home of Aussie Rules, and should just be a great day to watch the pies win easily.

Off to the G myself in a few minutes, M15, Row E as always for home games.

How Reid goes will be a major interest from my POV, plus a few of the quieter guys last week..Steele, Jolly, Jack and Trav, Leon, Toovs ( sorry Pie Eyed et al)

Not really the ideal lead up game before tackling Saints, but need to have a win is first priority, then think about percentage.

I remember from my footy days that being called up from emergency would give me such a rush of excitement and adrenalin that i'd wind up being more pumped for the match then if i'd been selected all along.
