My memory tells me that I'm 99.9999999% certain that Phil Kelly was an unactivated sub 39 times.

It's irrelevant that he had his leg in a plaster cast on all 39 occasions. We demand Josh for free retroactively!

He still had the other leg didn't he?

How does this work for stats and averages.
You’d be filthy if you start your career off as sub 5 times and get zero game time and don’t even register a kick.

Honestly go back and draft any past player who didn’t play 100 games and list them as a supplementary rookie.
We ain’t winning shit this year so might as well secure any father sons we don’t have access to.

1981 Grand Final, Carlton v Collingwood. Two interchange players per side, one is Mario Bortolotto (Carlton.) Did not get a run all day, not once despite the interchange system. Game credited to his tally and received his Premiership medallion on the dais.

Likewise Michael McCarthy in the 1978 Grand Final. First year of interchange but didn't take the dressing gown off all day. Went home with a premiership medallion.

Cam Mooney says hi
In fairness to Mario, Cam Mooney did actually get onto the ground early. From memory he slipped over once and in a separate incident gave away a 50. Denis had seen enough.
By the way, Mario Bortolotto is a good bloke! Haven't met Cam.

Winston!!!!! Oh, has he got any sons?

Apparently Josh Walker coming up on Derwayne's World this afternoon. Smiling Assassin first if they're appearing in order of being listed by Derwayne.

Honestly you can't argue with Duck's prediction there. We needed everything to go our way pre-season not to be bottom four and our list of injuries even before a ball is bounced for Round 1 is bordering on diabolical. Anyone that was at Arden St. a couple of weeks ago and saw how we played against Hawthorn's B-side would have to agree we'll be doing well to avoid the spoon.

In saying all of that it IS all conjecture until we've actually played our first game or two, and at least we know that we'll be putting 22 fit players on the park against Port. Right now it's all about the long term re-build so we need to accept some short term pain. Just wish we would have some luck with injuries.

Walker says he wouldn't be surprised if there were some debutants this week. Main training tomorrow to find out.
Talking points include different avenues to goal, through the corridor etc, stuff we've been served over the off season. JW thinks NMFC need to be have a few different 'modes' available which they've been practicing. (Good).
JW on LDU—stood out in drills and had a good summer. Agrees generally with prompt that he could have a great year.

A few other things that we have heard before. Went for about 10 minutes total maybe.
