I don't get it. I thought he wanted to get home in WA? Or he just really wanted out of Brisbane?

FWIW, I don't rate him as highly as others and don't reckon he's worth pick 12 in a weak draft where the upper picks are going to be more valuable than normal.
It's all relative.

For a side without a big forward, he is worth pick 12.

hit the nail on the head there. lazy, unaccountable, self absorbed & he will be telling neeld where he is playing. more trouble than what he's worth.

I wonder what changed his mind.
The money or desperation just to get out of lions and could see Freo wasn't going to get a deal done.

Who said the weekend during TW was going to be boring?:D Shit has gone down today!! That press release from Freo and Clark yesterday is looking mighty odd now..

"We always said to Fremantle that we want their first pick (No.16) and preferably something in addition to it," Kerr said.

"They started with their end of first-round compensation pick, then they moved to pick 20 and now to pick 16"

So Freo eventually offered the pick 16 that Brisbane wanted but they still wouldn't send him there. No wonder he wanted out.
