Should try and target Suns 6 & 23 for 3. Suns then give 3 to Richmond for Rioli. Then tell Richmond you’re getting 23 for Baker. If Fremantle want to offer more let them burn a pick on him.

Hawks F1 and Blues F1 for Barrass.

Blues F1 for Baker.

Turn Barrass into Baker and future first.

But this won’t happen because Tigers will demand the Hawks future first and something else and Hawks will want us to throw a future second in or something else.

Go home early today Clarke. Go put your feet up, just pack up and leave.

We do…but Liam wants to play for you

Chris Tarrant originally wanted to play for West Coast going back in time
(btw thanks for taking that bullet for us)

Very happy we stood our ground here.

What are these feelings I’m experiencing for our list management team???

Pride? Respect?

Oh my.

They won’t be offering that.

Pleased that we held firm.

Little Tom Morris saying “if you snooze you lose” and #14 was fair for Barrass.

OMG how ignorant and biased they are. Hawthorn were not acting in good faith. Wanted a cheap steal.

It’s Tom Morris - the footy media’s equivalent of a recurring veruca.

You all keep spouting this rubbish, but no club ever redrafts a player through PSD because they couldn't get them a trade. No way Richmond will re-draft him.
Either way it's a win win. If Richmond take him then we didn't overpay for a 'nice to have' player, and if they don't take him then we get him for nothing.

Tom Morris reckons Hawks offered pick 14 and a future second for Barrass and a future third or whatever going the other way.

I probably would've accepted that, but knowing that pick 14 was gonna go straight out the door for Baker is a no for me.

Hawks bending for us in some way here because we weren’t satisfied with the deal. Eagles cooking here I think. Hawks still desperate for TB but going a different direction, hopefully via our word on what it will take

That f2 for f3 was essentially a 5-10 pick upgrade in the 40s next year when pick points are worth a lot less, worth next to nothing.
Basically pick 14+ a mid to late 40s pick. No thanks

Of course they would be. Entitled Victorian team.

We should be playing the game like PA with Houston. Don’t get/give up the picks we want then no trade.
We know his worth and so do Hawthorn.

We do not trade Barrass for unders or on their terms. He is under contract and being well paid.

If we go limp at the negotiating table just image what will happen if Harley asks to leave.

This Barrass trade we need to set the tone. Not demand stupid overs but get what is fair plus 20%.
