Who will be our 24-28 year olds ?

Literally no one
Thats the age that we will be targeting when we are a good team again, as free agents. Even if we dont, if the bulk of the list is around 27 years old, the impact of having some veterans is less than when the bulk of the list is 22.

Itll be fine, the 21-25 bracket isnt critical to fix immediately, the bracket thatll be the leaders once Yeo/Gov retire are the ones to chase right now

That bracket can be fixed when Yeo/Gov retire, not during the best draft in recent years…

First round means **** all if those picks are both in the 20+ range which is perfectly possible next year and the reason everyone, bar those with academy access is trying to get into this draft, not out of it Jon you ****ing simpleton.

Hawks ****ed up by making a dumb shortsighted trade and now expect us to pay the price for it.

To be honest I think that probably gets it done.

Would’ve preferred 14+F2 but it seems like the F3 coming back was the sticking point for that

F1 + F2 = 14…. I know it may have been used for Baker, but 14 is still a better offer than F1 + F2.

2x F1 would be ideal, even if we had to give something back (F2). But if not I think we have to hold out for F1 + 2x F2 as our worst option.

or we just keep TB, honestly not the end of the world for us (especially if we are getting 0 current draft currency..)

Well that’s fine Hawthorn, the price was a first and second all the time until you chucked a kiddy tantrum and went and traded pick 14, now it’s a future first so not worth as much you F’n campaigners. So the new price is the two F1 picks.

Any Draft watchers able to shed light on FOS for me please? Is it a case similar to Judd with injury concerns dropping him down the order to approx 3? Are these actually career concerning? From what I have read production/growth for the year isn’t as expected, but it’s a symptom of a disrupted year, no?
What is the differentiator between he and Draper?

No, the injuries aren’t a long term concern, he was just incredibly unlucky with a few different injuries throughout the year, mostly relating to his finger. He just wasn’t ever able to fully fire because he clearly wasn’t fit.

He’s definitely not going to be Judd, but he’ll be a very good player, his aerial ability for his size is incredible and he’s one of the best inside 50 kicks in this draft, a good runner with a decent set of wheels on him too.

The main worry for me would be his accumulation ability at the next level, not sure if he becomes the ball pig that we desperately need.

I’d say the difference between him and Draper is FOS is more athletically gifted, Draper is better as a pure inside midfielder, both are good on the outside, FOS is more dangerous in the front half and is a better ball user. FOS look like he could be a good leader but Draper seems to already be an exceptional one.

I think FOS has the higher ceiling out of him and Draper but Draper is probably a safer pick, if that makes sense.

F2 Hawks better be gong to Baker. Add 23 if we have to
Hawks' F2 on its own isn't going to cut it for Baker, nor does adding 26 make any sense. 26 on its own is reasonable given Baker is out of contract and not a midfielder or KPP.

Darling an Eagle.

Under the points index if Darling was valued at pick 67 all we needed to do was trade him 17 times giving Richmond slightly over the value of pick 14.

Then downgrade pick 3 to 6, still getting us in the range of top elite picks but having the capital to get him back exactly 7 times.

Everybody wins, would even be happy to cop 1 or 2 less Jack Darlings coming our way (at risk of being called soft at the table)
