When was the last A grade game shuey played for the club ?

2023 Deerby - clear BOG until he did his hammy - had us in front. He was so good it was embarrassing for the dockers so called A Grade mids.

I think Tom and his wife would have a very strong and definite opinion on where they want to live.

I am sure they will have an opinion. But i like many with my wife have moved often for work. We see it as a refresh and and adventure to enjoy new places. Most I work with are in the same situation.

We can babble on all day about which older people we keep But fit? Elliot Yo is first choice in all respects. Age, power,competitive rage, etc!
Shuey? I’m ambivalent! Slowing down and getting old man anger! Absolute respect and amongst our all time greats.
NN? I feel his time is up! BW is never going to be a No 1 ruckman but he’s proved he’s up to the standard And He’s done enough to show that he’s up for the fight.
If(always if) Barnett comes on; and let face it he doesn’t have to prove it in year one then having NN there will stymie improvement. If NN plays on it should be as No 3 ruckman as ridiculous as it sounds.
Gaff probably has to go unless he wants to be a WAFL leader which I hope he does because he’s got a lot to offer a young team.
Hurn is still playing good footy but same same. Break glass in case of emergency.
It’s a delicate balancing act. I would prefer to keep a couple of the older blokes, ditch some idiots,( please don’t go there we’ve go lots of them) draft some kids and play them with the veterans in the wings,providing support.
Don’t rely on the oldies but don’t just ditch the oldies!

Although it could just be that much rarer for the Shockers to be travelling well.

Liked Dev when he went in the middle his natural possie. Attacks the ball and picks the nest option more often than not. Just needs to keep his feet a little more. A must in the Off-season
