So i would like to take back what i said earlier and i belive Mckay is a BAND 1 COMPO player, absolutely he's. He's a top 3 defender in the league.

So picks 2,3 and ports 1st rounder would be fine if not take Reid. Simple, cheers.

There’s no way North do that, I don’t even think they’d want Reid THAT much. They’d be very content to take Curtin and McKercher, Duursma or Watson, who actually fill needs for them, especially with them likely getting Sanders for nothing.

I think the best they’d offer is 2 and Port’s 1st which I hope we don’t even consider but if the club is desperate for Curtin, they’ll probably do it.

No chance we trade it for a package with pick 5 as the best pick surely. Melbourne would need to come up with a top 3 pick to get us Curtin or we’re laughing it off the table.

Hopefully we laugh it off the table anyway, f*** melbourne. Can't think of anything worse than serving up possibly the best kid in years to those grubs, especially as a top 4 team. Can just see him destroying us every time we play them for the next 15 years while the guys we pick with their mediocre offer end up as mediocre players.

Take Reid he's just too much of a talent to turn down. Would need to be a miracle trade to convince me otherwise. If simmo is going its an even better reason to take #1 pick to the draft. Doubt we do it, yet alone get a good price for pic one, but you can hope we do the right thing.

I still think it’s worth the risk. Next years potential pick is just a number at this stage but this year we know the players that are available and 2 of them are a perfect fit along with Reid.

What are the chances pick 1 (potentially pick 2 if Ashcroft goes nuts) next year is lightyears ahead of a local, modern KPD or a rapid accumulator that can win his own ball? At worst the loss is negligible, at best it could progress our development massively
