The worrying part is none of them liked Ginbey at our pick ..
Not worrying at all, the pieces just move with more information.
I had a look at PMBangers first draft guess from this time last year and it wasn't too far away. Hewett instead of Ginbey for us. I'll find the post

I'm not buying the Hawthorn tanking stuff. Those players don't want to lose. I think they made a tough cut and accepted they'll do it tough now, but I don't think its tanking. They've come close in three games now

Same, it's almost like watching WC in horrible colours!
Game plans look almost identical!

I don’t think it’s the players that want to lose I think it’s the coaching decisions like I’ve said putting sis for in the last minute or so in the forward line leaving Scrimshaw who is easily one of our best backmen playing off the ground for most of the game as a sub these Decisions I don’t understand the overcautious with Mitch Lewis who rob me who could play but is given extra time to rest. getting rid of Tom Mitchell Jaeger O’Meara and Jack Gunston at the end of last season strange stuff for Team that wants to be competitive

Here's where last year looked - as the previous poster said, no Ginbey anywhere, a firm bolter. However, most of the names around the top were pretty close! To say outright that no one has any idea is a fair way off tbh

I asked my boss if I can get signed off to use the ride on mop on our bottom floor at work.
He said no.

For context, I do not work in the cleaning space at all. It just looked fun
Totally off topic, but it looked fun.

30 something years ago when I was at uni, one of my mates dad managed a tannery. For some drinking money, we used to build pallets on weekends.

But racing the forklifts slalom style through the tannery was pretty fun.

**** knows how we never drove a forklift into one of the vats, as we had a hair pin turn right in the middle of one of sheds, where we used to have to drift the forklifts around the bend to not lose speed.

I got the feeling Sam Mitchell was acting frustrated in the coaches box just for a effect he knew the cameras were on him he was happy we lost in my opinion I could be wrong but playing Grant Birchall as a sub as one of our best players very suss and you’re right about sis Forward when the game was on the line very suss
um, Grant Birchall?

Curtin falling fast in recruiting circles. Will need to show a lot more and quickly to retain a place in the top 20 let alone the top 5.

Already 18, 196cm and 91kg's. A man against boys a lot of the time. His reading of the play from defence has been amazing, particularly last year but Van Rooyen, Clay Hall, Hardeman are the WA players I would say have significantly improved their stocks, Tholstrup has stayed around the same mark, Edwards and Curtin falling significantly.

Briztoon is right, outside of Reid there doesn't seem to be a top tier inside mid in the draft class at this stage. Clay Hall is now potentially top of the list of contenders. But a lot of the mid types will come on as the year goes on. There are a hell of a lot of talented talls, rucks, ruck-forwards, medium forwards, half forwards and more outside leaning balanced mids as well as some pretty good looking medium/small defenders and some great small forward options but they do seem on the really small side.

Right now it looks like pick 1, then 20+ who could go from pick 2 to 10, then depending on club needs I would suggest another 40+ afl quality talents. I can see 80 players being taken in the main draft this year. Last year after pick 30 it was a real lottery and even then all players post pick 20 all had at least 1 major weakness.

What we are wanting to see as the year goes on is players surge into that elite category. Hall doesn't turn 18 for another month and just racked up 27 disposals, 5 tackles and a goal in WAFL seniors. 190cm and is rock solid.
not interested in pretty good looking medium/small defendersn Are they any good?

If you really think the Hawks are tanking, they wouldn't be leading in both of their last 2 games with a minute to go.

Nick Watson star small forward Zane duurssma super talented forward and mid Daniel curtain super tall that can play chb and chf Nate caddy another talented forward Aston Moir talented forward who can kick like a natural with both feet will Lorenz great midfielder great grand son on hawthorn great graham Arthur koltyn tholstop great forward midfielder but obviously Harley Reide is the man I wouldn’t be too concerned if the Hawks didn’t get him I think it would make me much more happy if North didn’t get him because they are definitely tanking hard and have been for years where in West Coast and Hawthorn are just doing a genuine rebuild not just trying to rig the system like north are in my opinion No matter what happens I’ll be happy either way because I know we will get a good player either way both of us

Wah, that was a hard read.

In the case Nic retires I wouldn’t be against getting Lycett back as mature backup if it didn’t cost anything and he was into the idea

After seeing how fast BW's coming on I don't recon we need a fill in, the way this years panning out I recon we stick with our young rucks and worry about a mature body at the pointy end.

I don't think Lycett is worth the effort I think he's cooked, 4 games last year as well. Last thing we need is more players who don't play enough matches for whatever reason.

I really hope Williams can stand up week after week, he was good against Geelong in that last game of last season as well. Just needs to find consistency.

If he picks up 27poss in WAFL seniors at 17 imagine what he'll do at the champs. Big watch!

Thoughts on Jack Buller in MSD?
