I did email the club,

Nothing back as expected. Obviously they cant give a good answer as to why Brisbane Lions get 20 mill more then us per year while we pay 5% extra for our memberships....
Because we don't get an extra $20mil?

Which is the issue. Ask the AFL for more, not us.

Zero reason we shouldnt get more. Brisbane hold as much assets as we do basically (we are about 15% better off)
We don't have a growing market in Queensland, hence the investment from the AFL.

Junior participation is booming up here.

Change our expectations is the only way. Have to move him to a back pocket and see what happens. If that fails then its Mornington FC for him
Those back pockets are busy. He's nearly out of credits. Can Mini reinvent shit, if indeed he is shit. I guess like many things, all will be revealed in the scratchies and Roos game?

Baker kept yelling “where’s the protester, he said he was gonna be here, must just be a soft as butter mouthpiece, like a bull without horns……….pfffffttttt!”
GopremieshipNo4EaglesGo. How many of your mates turned up at the Aberdeen to protest?

What will be interesting is how Mini works with the guys who are not automatic starters and may have been played out of position or with a lesser impact. He was at Richmond in 2014 so would have been part of the team that was instructed to look at why each player was drafted and the attributes they bring and how best to use them (they did this over the 2014/15 summer).

Can Chesser be the one getting quick handpasses off our interceptors and providing the run and carry? Or can we use his athleticism to get a kick in to the left for a 1 on 1 contest when Chesser has a slower opponent? {Note to Optus curators - please expect some grass being used on both sides of the ground}

What did Hall do in 2013 with Peel that elevated him to league and made us want to draft him?

There will be loads of questions to be asked of the list management team and they will need to work closely with the coaches to get the most out of the squad.

100% look forward to what changes will be implemented.
Seems from reports there are definitely a few on the cards.
Chesser as you mentioned into HB, Hall just looks like an inside mid in the making, WAFL patience and rotating thru with the likes of Reid, Yeo, Kelly, Hewett.
Love what Maric may bring to KDEF, Hutch to wing and inside rotation, 1 of A Reid or Barnett into KDEF?

Looks like the only answer is to vote with your feet. Hand in your Eagles membership and sign up with Brisbane.

You'll be a loss to this board, but briztoon will enjoy the company over on the Lions board.
We’ve already got our own version thanks.

Surely we exile this campaigner already.

That’s a pretty inaccurate representation of this boards collective views. It’s reflective of a small minority but not many hold that opinion

You’re entitled to post what you want on other boards, but the leash here gets shortened if you’re going to misrepresent what’s posted here on those boards

To be fair to Briztoon it was posted on the Oscar Allen thread elsewhere and not on our forum.

I'll also say that those who voice that perspective likely aren't making a statement of fact.

It's pre-season fueled hope/banter pinned on talent and how swole they look. & that's OK, this is a goddamn fan board.

What does a Lions membership cost compared to ours I wonder?

Are all clubs the same membersip prices?
You can scroll through each clubs membershop prices on Ticketmaster. Brisbane have 2 tiers of A tickets so makes it a bit harder to compare

Its mostly between 125-250 dollars cheaper. The 780 dollar seats we have are 575 for Brisbane. 560 standard seats are 375 for Brisbane

The biggest smacking we get is the lower end tickets. ALmost across the board its 250-350 bucks and we pay 580. Our 580 dollar seat is 259 for North fans as a example

You should see Gold Coasts one. Its insane . General Admission is 230 bucks but you get free tickets to the Brisbane game at Gabba plus you can bring a friend for free on 6 of those games. Also need to remember these clubs offer family packages too . Family package for 2 adults + 2 kids is 445 bucks. or you can bring 4 kids with you and takes it to 495.... Fundamentally you can have 7 people at the game for 41.50 in total :D . At a Eagles game that same equivalent costs 280 bucks

To be fair the Brisbane one's aren't that far off considering at the Eagles game you're sitting in a brand new stadium with the best comforts and amenities that come with that, compared to the Lions fans rocking up at the Gabba which is in line to be pulled down and rebuilt for the Olympics.

Do a direct comparison with Freo Memberships for comparison.

Marvel stadium seats cheaper then Brisbane and that's a new and great stadium.

Freo is a good example though as a club that gets 6 mill more then us

Freo tough to find for some reason. I can see there version of our 580 dollar seats however is 410 bucks
