I’m not going to go through your whole list. I’m just observing that you’re very quick to throw some young midfielders in that top category when they’re still just starting out - Brayshaw, Walsh, Rowell. You’ve also included Cotchin in there when he’s had one All Australian season in 14 years. And you’ve talked down some key position players who carved out decent careers.

Bottom line, it’s subjective. That’s fine. If you’re saying you think it’s more likely you’ll get a star mid with a top two pick, great. Say it. But just recognize it’s based on your subjective opinion, it’s not an incontrovertible fact.
I need to get myself into an argument with some other poster so Mr Sanchez can come to my defence.
I need some court room action

Im saying that you are stating the obvious in an attempt to sound like you know better than others.
That to be a top 2 pick mid you have to win your own footy? Everyone knows that. I don't believe I've ever hinted that that isn't common knowledge.

Talking about obvious, it's really ****ing obvious that it's easier to pick an A grade mid at the top of the draft than an A grade KPF. Pretty much everyone knows it without looking at the data. But I post it up and some nuffies who nuffink about nuff-all try and debate the case, and then people like you who are offended by my brash demeanour come in and try to bait me into straw arguments. It is what you're doing, right?

Anyway. With regards to florenca. Where has he come from? Has he been building to be this good, or has something flipped and he’s now great at WAFL level?

Ultimately what makes him worth getting?
Think he started to come good a couple of years ago and then got a serious injury which kept him out for a while. (Obviously this appeals to O'Brien)

Holy heck. Stocks now using Credits in the Bank in his most recent article on the eagles website….
Where is this bank and how do they lend so easily.?
‘And you can add the likes of Callum Jamieson, Bailey Williams, Connor West, Luke Foley, Zane Tew, Isiah Winder and Xavier O’Neill to that list of youngsters who have the capacity to right the listing ship.’

Lel. That is one ordinary list of young talent, Gary. You know it’s Tew.

Less of the baseless propaganda and more follow through at the selection table thanks.

Well stop being a dick pretending to be all knowing and belittling other opinions when all you are posting is obvious statements.

Thats the point.

Glad you finally worked it out. :clapping: :clapping: :thumbsu:

Thought the same.

Lets list every player added recently and then just say "The future looks bright"

Hopefully dawn will break soon as its looking pretty dark right now.

What's worse? Belittling a person with Dunning Kruger? Or following someone around and starting straw arguments? You're no better than me so you need to stfu and mind your business.

That really is worrying. Far out!!

Trying on the Stocks blue and gold coloured glasses for a sec;

Jamieson looks a different player in the ruck. Still VERY raw but does some Jacksonesque things and is a must keep (in the role)

West is a solid B level AFL footballer, a good honest trier who will have the odd high level game when the skills click. Every teams needs these sorts. Just not the #1/#2 mid role ideally. He also looks a bit like Bodhi from Point Break which I enjoy.

Williams is not a Ruck. He needs to be tried in a new role as a last chance saloon. He doesn't look a natural forward and we have some talented tall backs so I'm not sure here. Maybe a token trade.

Foley is okay but has too many shortcomings...Depth at very best.

The rest, I just don't see it. I just don't. I've even tried using the James Webb Space Telescope for glimmer of light, alas those stars never ignited.

Random question, how is Zane Trew going?

I remember he had potential but had off field issues, has he committed and showed anything in the WAFL or a bust/delist?
Had 22 yesterday and was in our best, so building nicely.

Interesting Josh Browne had 36 yesterday and was bog for us. He could be a MSD option with our second pick

Bust . Even before his long injury lay off he had some serious flaws in his game .

He just doesn't have enough potential to give him another year IMO .
