I know I might be drawing a long bow but I think the Langford/Guelfi incident is a reflection on the coach/s to some degree.
To me that incident says those guys are playing with a mentality that they don’t want responsibility...it looked like ‘get me the hell off so someone else can take the heat of being on an AFL ground’. The complete lack of confidence so many players appear to have is a reflection on how they are prepared mentally for a really tough competition to play in. That awful incident sums up so many things about the first 2 weeks(plus JLT)....or maybe those players are just really really daft!!

I just can’t for the life me understand what the hell the whole club was doing over summer.

you have to wonder if they were called to the bench and instinctively followed the order rather than the game.

It would go a long way to explaining the mentality at the club - so far out of the zone and just not switched on
If it was one player, you'd think it was a brain-fade. for both of them to do so simultaneously......

Im not too worried about our 1st pick. Even with this start in mind, i still take Shiel.
But we need to turn things around. Or we need to clean the deck at seasons end. With no one off limits.

I'm really getting sick and tired of Worsfold acting like he got 5 nuggets in his 6 nugget meal Deal in the pressers. The man is coaching for a pay cheque. There is no passion there. The players aren't playing for him. Time for a change

Switched on the replay on FoxFooty and gee whiz didn't we have some chances?

Fantasia running into an open goal from 40m, butchered the shot. Behind

Shiel bursting through the 50m line to which he should kick the goal. Behind.

Stringer snap on goal which he would normally kick. Behind.

Fantasia had a mark he would normally snaffle. Dropped.

To say we were outplayed is an understatement but geez we had some chances to take this game by the scruff of the neck.


If we play this badly Friday night, then something is wrong. I bloody hope not. A few blokes need to lift.
