WA govt not going to pay for any AFL Hub in Perth although with Crown resort and new Stadium precinct it would be a good location . Last night's news saying Adelaide , QLD and Melbourne seem favoured locations for AFL Hubs .

Will be interesting to see if it's just QLD going it alone or whether other States will do similar
I just read the detail and they are winding back their stupid over the top restrictions to be more in line with other states (like ours). They will now let you go for more than a 50km drive (how did they even enforce that?), go outside with yr family and exercise with one other person. Oh, and shop for non-essential items. None of these things were high risk in the first place and should not have been restricted.

It's easy to call restrictions 'stupid' and 'over the top' in hindsight, but I'd rather an overly cautious approach and being able to laugh about it afterwards, than going in too casual and paying the price.

Article on Perth & how it's changed since this began

I think all the people that deserted the CBD area are currently walking, cycling or picnicing down on the South Perth foreshore. Outside of Skyworks I've never seen it busier than it is this morning. The vibe is magic. Strongly suggest Quinz avoids any catch-ups down there today because chances of a conception occurring would be ~ 90%.

There is now a real chance Australia late next week will have less than 40 in ICU, less than 90 deaths, and less than 900 active cases in a nation of 25 million.

No way did I think these numbers would happen when this all started.
