If the AFL wants to make a real point about drugs, he needs to be de-registered. If he goes on to play for another club, its the Eagles being punished, not Ben Cousins.

Ah, so Cousins is de-registered for never testing positive to an illicit substance. But players who have tested positive twice are the subject of a huge lawsuit to protect their identities. AFL system = working!
To be honest - if cousins had been found guilty of dnagerous driving he would have been sacked
one of his conditions of playing was not falling foul of the law
the fact that it is once again drugs is largely irrelevant

At last the little grub has been booted. The WC maladministration should now be punished and severely. The credibility of the code has been greatly damaged because they were unethical and as weak as an andrew embley tackle.
I've got no sympathy for Cousins. Nobody to blame but himself.
