How will the big fellow go this season in the Brownlow??

He has been outstanding this season, especially for someone that is playing with a broken bone in his foot.

We obviously haven't won alot of games, but will he get alot of 1-2 votes in games we have lost??

That's a great set of numbers from the big fella. It's not inconceivable that Coxy will get 1-2 votes in up to 10 games so far but it won't be enough to win it.

BTW - where'd you get those stats from??

Unfortunately we haven't won enough games. I'm sure he'll probably win our B/F but won't go close in the Brownlow. Not many ruckmen unfortunately win it.

You're used to your good players getting votes.

But bottom teams simply get no respect from the umpires or for AA and the likes.

Everyone gets tainted with the same brush unfortunately (I should know! :()

Won't come close mainly for this reason... star players get underrated when the team plays bad.

Just to get this straight. I don't think he will win it. I was more asking the question regarding how many votes he will get.

Well, as pointed out earlier, he's only had 28 votes to date in his career so I'd have to say he'd be lucky to get 8 for this year, if that!

Yeah I know, but in the past you had Cousins, Judd and Kerr getting all the votes. This season Kerr is the only chance of getting a vote.

In the games that we have won and only just lost Cox will have to get votes.

Yes, but in most of those games we were winning and dominating teams! This season unfortunately we have been getting whipped. Sure there is hardly anyone else in our team that would of been stripping votes off him but the opposition definitely would of been! I'd love to see him poll well but past Brownlow history has shown that he's not going to get the big numbers.

no way have we won enough games for cox to win the brownlow, especially up against players like ablett, bartell, coony, mitchell ect.

maybey top 5 but even that im doubtfull.

I reckon if you pulled up Chris Judds stats from 2004. you will probably find that Cox's stats are better
