Toast CROWS get their man Don Pyke named Adelaide coach

& only spoke to Don on Wednesday.......

Actually first spoke to him the week after Walsh died when we played the Eagles in Perth.

Why else? You know it. Gave you all great satisfaction to steal a senior assistant from us.

Anyway, 10th coach in 26 seasons, "Total football" (how original) - good luck.

Couldn't give a shit where we got our coach from. He was a highly experienced coach, who was footy smart and knew how to deal with players. Where he got that experience and where he was coaching at the time was irrelevant.

Because the NTUA bullshit/never give up/"Port Adelaide way" footy isn't spin right? Incidentally, what "way" this is. Is it the 2004, 2008-2012, 2014 or 2015 way? How is this way of going about it unique to Port as well? I always laugh that Port fans can't see that the attributes they call "Port Adelaide" (when it suits them of course) are the exact same attributes that other clubs strive for like North and the "Shinboner spirit" or Sydney the "Bloods" culture... soooo unique.

When they've won more premierships than your team in the SANFL they'll throw that up to show how they're better than you

When they've won less premierships than your team in the AFL, suddenly it matters how many coaches you've had

The look of glee on Fagan's dial when he jumped in with the answer (Brisbane) was pure gold. It was a beautiful backhander and said so much about how he feels about keeping the media in the dark…particularly Rootch.

I know you like to believe that but that never entered my mind. I was talking about his persona during his interviews. He had authority in his voice. Whilst I am sure that Walshy was good for Port Adelaide it wasn't the only club that he learnt his trade from.

I always laugh at how you Port supporters are always on your board claiming that "we're obsessed wtih Port", yet the reality is that many of our supporters are apathetic towards Port while most of your board seems to live off every word that comes from our club. Ironically most of the news about our club often seems to break on your board before it even does on here.
